I tried the new c drama and dropped it we're all stuck
I just finished are you the one as some recommended this as similar to splendid match with a smart FL. It was ok but i still prefer the chemistry of ci sha and renmin. I end up enjoying the secondary couple in are you the one more than the main.
I rarely complement a drama on MDL and I have some serious problems with this drama BUT one thing this drama has…
I think what makes it stand out is because ci sha has martial arts background. his every whip and slash feel very real. He has the control and the energy of a warrior,
Xueji is a breath of fresh air—kind, intelligent, capable, and completely secure in herself. She never asks the Emperor for love, never demands his attention, and never makes herself the center of his world. Instead, she offers support when needed, carries out her responsibilities with dignity, and remains steadfastly herself.
Perhaps that’s why she captured his heart. While she expected nothing from him, the Emperor slowly and quietly fell in love with her. In the end, she received the very thing she never asked for—a love built on respect, admiration, and genuine companionship.
How is the ml in rise of ning? I read he is also a good actor.
I am guessing too. Before I start a show, I usually watch random clips to get a feel for both the actor’s abilities and the character. Out of Are You the One, The Rise of Ning, and Si Jin, Are You the One is the one I’m most drawn to so far.
From the clips I’ve seen, Zhang Wanyi seems particularly good at playing characters with dry humor. Seems to be his strength.
Love love loved this show! cried my eyes out. The leads were amazing and had solid chemistry but never in my life…
The director actually did a good job showcasing each of the characters. They all had their shining moments. Even xuanqjng had a lot of opportunities to showcase his acting skills
while waiting for the full episode to land, i found this- https://www.facebook.com/reel/999315516155975so sweet...…
I honestly think the two of them are so comfortable with each other that even when they’re doing fan service, they seem completely in sync. Nothing feels forced or awkward—it just comes across as natural because they understand each other’s rhythm so well.
Even I was thinking.. its better to voice personalized opinions in the comments, so everyone can discuss on it...…
Yes gala zhang’s proposal scene was very memorable. I think the director really did a great job making each of the characters shine. all of our leads and 2nd 3rd leads have created their own iconic scenes that will stuck in viewers mind .
I see very exaggerated low ratings in the reviews. I understand that its not everyone’s cup of coffee but it…
I was actually quite surprised that some viewers dropped the drama because they found Ci Sha’s acting too blunt or plain. I was like, seriously?
The two leads practically carried the entire show. The plot itself wasn’t anything groundbreaking, but the acting and chemistry were so strong that they pulled in a huge number of viewers. Their performances made many scenes memorable despite the relatively simple story.
So when I see people complain about his acting, I honestly wonder which actors actually meet their standards.
Planning to watch ashes of crown next….

At the moment, I’m just watching Are You the One to help scratch the Splendid Match itch, but so far nothing has quite managed to fill the void.
