This is a show made to be rewatched. I've been rewatching the previous episodes while waiting for the new episodes…
100%! I binged all the episodes again till the latest one and, while it's awesome the first time, it's so much better the second time around as you pick up on the details and interconnected dialogue. For example, the journal was a great connection that was easily missed, from a conversation in passing a few episodes before he gets one.

You're definitely not the only one. The lack of continuity is jarring - so I guess the barrier wasn't needed, after all, and all the loose threads with all the other characters are just going to be left hanging. What happened to the secretary, the campaign, the toxic waste dump, why didn't they bring the Hong Kong counter and this Singapore counter earlier when they stripped Mun of his powers, why couldn't we see the territory during the fight at the start of 15, how was Hana able to take on that lady spirit so easily by herself after all, why would Mun keep the son at his place if he knew the spirit could jump to his body and put his grandparents at risk, etc etc etc. This story has become super easy and sloppy, and frankly boring. I'm hoping they can season 2, or retool the concept with a capable writer, because this ain't it.

She used to assist Kim Eun Sook. You can absolutely see shades of Mr Sunshine's quick-fire and layered dialogue here, and I'm eating it up with a spoon.

Plot holes all over the place, a glut of copy/paste characters that don't serve much purpose, the story has meandered for a few weeks, and it's gotten pretty sloppy. I'm not sure I'll watch the last two episodes, took me six hours of pause/play/do chores/whatever to finish 14. They lost me with them stripping Mun of his status as Counter (like that wasn't gonna get reversed quickly... Yawn.) but I've stuck it out hoping it gets better. What a disappointment, this drama was so tight at first. This has become The Lies Within with super heroes, but at least that one had Lee Min Ki. :) They should've finished this in 10 episodes, rather than 16.
A bit of a stupid question maybe but why was Kim Yeong Nim killed? Did I miss the reason from prior episodes?Watching…
She was pregnant, presumably because of the mayor. The dead girl is a plot device more than anything and they haven't really elaborated much on the why behind her death, for all the mentions she gets in the drama.
I love Seo Kang Joon, but I also think that Kim Soo-Hyun is kissing kdrama perfection :)
Look up the clips on YouTube, they don't disappoint. The drama is slow but it's pleasant to watch. The kisses, well it's Park Min Young, that woman makes her costars sizzle. :D

It's a joke, go read her review on when the weather is fine. and I can't even remember the kisses on IOTNBO, but the ones that drama are unforgettable.
I'm usually terrible at this but my hubby caught an Easter egg. He's a huge fan of The Godfather and he noticed that the music used in the scene where her friend is sleeping with her eyes open is the same as was used for the horse head scene. This drama is so fun and clever on so many levels, this just boosted my enjoyment even more :)
I can't wait for the interpol to get on Dan Tae's ass, with that dropped passport at the curb. And I got the murder and mayhem I wanted, but damn show, that's the wrong character!! At least Eun Byul should've bitten it, but Soo Ryun? I'm sure there's a twist coming.
I set my alarm for 3am thinking I'd sneak a peak and then fall asleep again since it wasn't subbed.. Yeah, no. One eye closed and volume all the way down to not wake up my husband (lmao he's beyond patient with my fangirling), still stayed up the whole time. Subs made a huge diff, and the subber inserting the gushing comments a few times was so relatable haha
An hour and a half of pure joy :D I woke up to watch it live at 3am and just rewatched with subs, no regrets. He got up to ~850k live viewers.
