I want to believe he's real but a strong part of me is telling me its not and I am so mad because Xing Zhizhi and Qin Fei deserves their happy ending too!!!

Omg. I can't take their break up and I don't know how the writers will fix this mess... but I at least hope to have a touching moment when that comes!! I want the old Xing Zhi Zhi back!!! 😢

He loved YCW not through the outer appearance (because even if she had a scar, he would still love her), what he loved about her, was yes through their childhood because she was the only person who truly cared and was always by his side. What he loved about her is that it is only through "her" that can give him a sense of warmth through his darkest fears.
Even if YCW had a face swap to become SGZ, it is her "characteristics and personality" that made PY saw her in a different light.
I actually found his love for her romantic because he loved her and will only be "her", no matter if her face changed to someone he didn't like before, but through their times together (when YCW is under the guise of SGZ), he came to love her through the characteristics of YCW.
He also came to really opened his heart to her when she (once again) was able to calmed his fears in the darkest moments.
That's really a deep love in my eyes and I love PY love for her because his love for have always only been for YCW.
And the distinct difference between YCW and the original SGZ is that, if YCW is not someone who will become the bad person or someone like the original SGZ, because if she were, he wouldn't have fallen in love with her in the first place.

Yeah we do share similar feelings. For me, I have no doubt Yuanqi came back because they put in the explanation in explaining how Yuanqi can come back so that wasn't a dream to me when the soul suppressing tower was reacting towards it at the end because it was explained that when Yuanqi returns it will react to it.
So in the end he definitely did return.. I honestly wish that they would have shared one final hug because I still felt like it would have been more fulfilling that way and it will be nice to see a parallel to YQ's parents when Baijue came back and Shanggu ran up and hugged him in the end.
I first came to know about the actor Chen Xing Xu was in Legend of the Condor Heroes, and I love his character in there.
A few years later I watched The Starry Love, and I recognized him as the same actor who played as my favourite character in the previous drama I watched him in. I like him in this one also.
Then, this year I just finished watching My Boss(2024) where I fell in love with his character in that one.
Now, I'm here trying to stick with this drama for the actor CXX because I like him but I'm really trying my best to stick to this drama(Our interpreter).
I am actually more curious as to why FL wanted to break up with him 8 years ago...
