Amidst a hella busy week, i finally finished the last episode... i liked the ending a lot,it gave us 2 possibilities of "what if" (& the Ending credits where everyone is convicted of crimes of some sort and received punishment gave this a good wrap up of the storyline)....The ultimate message of ep 16 is "Amateurs can never outplay professionals" , which reminded me of China's recent new law for influencers and content creators "you can't cover a serious professional topic unless you have a verified degree or certified qualification for it"

As someone working in a specialized professional field, i think It's high time every country in the world enforces a law like this so that i wouldn’t have to listen to some chatgpt shit about my professional expertise every now and then.

Idk what makes you think doing this drama back then secured someone's fame or why doing this drama by someone already famous was "puzzling" to you but i have no interest to jump to that topic bcz in the end this drama wasn't released and Actors went into their separated ways to get fame or popularity whatever they achieved or already had, and they're doing just fine in the industry, without this drama.

1. HE for only the leads SE for the rest of the characters (with a hope of resurrection) 2.No triangles but SML…
okay,good for you

personally i would never call that "love triangle" bcz someone's one sided feelings towards me has nothing to do me and my loyal relationship with my partner.

Do you think so? suppose, you and your boyfriend (or fiancee or husband) are loyal to each other and are on good terms and you are soulmates, suddenly someone from your workplace developed feelings for you (and confessed to you maybe),and you got to know that he harbors this feelings towards you for a long time, does it make you get involved in a love Triangle now?

Firstly ,This is not exactly BL but a censored adaptation of Danmei novel, like The untamed, word of honor etc. Secondly, when this was made, it was still allowed to make according to law & policies of censorship in china, and it was quite a big production already, the majority of the cast and director, producers were well known even at that time. It's nothing like someone took that role or took part in this drama to get famous. It was supposed to air in 2021, But the law and policies of the censorship has been changed at that time, and They are not allowed to make or air any kind of BL or censored BL adaptations in Mainland China anymore so this drama is shelved forever.

My point is, even if they manage to get broadcasting licence From somewhere outside mainland china and air it, as this drama has well known Mainland China celebrities in this, it will still be available to watch as you can't stop the spread of internet and fans will still watch it. This will potentially risk the career of the producers actors or other crews of Mainland china related to this drama bcz government plays a major part in these laws and policies of censorships.when big celebs do something out of their league or policies, It's considered as they're "promoting" something out of law and as their influence on the general public is huge, in comparison to some other almost unknown BL actors of China (who does dramas licenced From somewhere else)...so government may even blacklist this drama and It's makers and actors from Mainland china...

Will this be able to be released if they sell the rights to Thailand or some other country?
It would be if the actors weren’t mainstream or Big CPs.... but if they do that now, all these BIG actors' career will be affected so it can't be done.

Congratulations Jackson Yee for becoming the youngest Best Actor winner in Golden Rooster Awards history.

The 38th Golden Rooster Awards, held on November 15, 2025 in Xiamen, east China's Fujian Province, marked a historical night for 24 years old Chinese Actor Jackson Yee, who won the prestigious Best Actor award for his film "Big World" (小小的我) Where he played the Lead role Liu Chunhe (刘春和), a young man navigating life with cerebral palsy. He became the youngest Best Actor in the award’s history, breaking Liu Ye’s long-standing record of winning for 20 years.Liu Ye won the award at the age of 26 in 2004, and now Jackson Yee winning it at the age of just 24.

Jackson Yee had previously been nominated for Best Actor for “Better Days”, “A Little Red Flower”, and “Nice View”. After four nominations, he finally won the award, becoming the first post-2000s actor to receive the title.

His portrayal of Liu chunhe was widely praised & critically acclaimed and previously earned him the youngest ever recipient of the Best Actor award from China Film Directors' Guild (2024).Directors, including industry veterans like Wuershan (乌尔善), described Yee's portrayal as simply "too outstanding" to ignore. He captured the character's internal landscape – the simmering frustration, quiet resilience, and profound vulnerability – with a depth through meticulously crafted micro-expressions and constrained, authentic physicality. The role demanded more than acting; it required immersion.

On the 16th, Jackson Yee posted on social media to respond to his win. He wrote, “Thank you to everyone who supported ‘Big World.’ Being seen and recognized is a blessing for an actor. I will keep working hard and let my future projects speak for me,”

Launched in 1981, the Golden Rooster Awards is sponsored by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the China Film Association. The name of the award came from the Year of the Rooster in 1981. Award recipients receive a statuette in the shape of a golden rooster, and are selected by a jury of filmmakers, film experts, and film historians. The awards are the Chinese equivalent to the American Academy Awards
