I think it's Gu Jin?? Maybe it's because he's the last of the "True Gods".Lol I don't know and I'm just taking…
Yes, I thought this at first, too, but why "last"? Like, there are so many more immortals - basically all of them are immortals, who's gonna be the last obe stabding, is this a dark spoiler for the ending, only one remains omg 🤣? Something's def sus with that title 😅😑
Ok, don't spoil me, Im ep 13 but princess Chu Yue and Li Tonguang are chemistrifying even if Im not sure about his intention for now (he's giving villain but who knows - dont spoil, please, Im just voicing my thoughts here hehe)
I’m sorry Yin brought this one herself on this one and ahjin told her not to get involved anymore, he already…
So she was just going to look as Hing Yi was being killed by thunders after knowing the demon is not already inside of him? He is her friend and she tried to speak to everyone but no one would even give her the chance to listen, most of all Yuan Qi who continues to lie to her for "protection"(which is his way of controlling her, cause who protects like that? No excuse)
Someone's life was in danger and a close one to her, she did what was morally right and saved his life, she was the only person able to becauae only she knew the truth. Yuan Qi is not even half as brave and intelligent as her (least of all empathetic)
When everyone was hell bent on killing Hong Yi, she, without knowing the full truth yet was the only person to think and not act on impulse. Yuan Qi tried to have the middle ground but he doesn't think of all the outcomes, he blindly follows the "law". She is much nore mature
Why is everyone hating A Yin for no reason?? They're all hysterical just because, omg, chill
Heavenly realm is always full of wicked untreated narcs, they're all in white looking like "elegant" ghosts but behave so ghetto, it's cartoonish. Just leave people alone, that aunt is meddling everywhere - her and the whole Peacock family
All of people's problems stem from lack of communication and low effort, don't they? On that note...Yuan Qi.....you....
Yan Qi, you toxic mf, you deserve to be dumped so hard - you never change. A Yin, let that be a lesson, girl, people don't change. He was not honest with you once, he will do it ut again for whatever "new" pretty (un)godly reason. He "loves" you in a toxic, egotistical way. He doesn't see you as a full grown person or a woman, from the looks of it.
He's not evil, just not grown up enough, a manipulative control freak that doesn't really respect you - drop him like Scar dropped Mufasa off that cliff and say "Long live the true god" as he falls on his cowardly flakey ass.
I almost stopped watching after 5/ 6 ep. I read some comments about the ending and lost interest... But you're…
Oh no...I have experienced this recently way too many times with much loved by people dramas. For example, Story of Kunning palace that had few good highlighting moments, good character growth here and there but was too long for what it offered and took its time with everything, for the most part it was uneventful. I have only two remaining episodes and I dropped it because I know now the ending and don't think the journey was worth the wait .
I so wish this doesn't happen with this one, seeing how the first(well, first 7 not just one or two hah!) episodes were so slow to build up and you say it's inconsistent. We shall see, I'll give it a chance
Ep.8 this finally picked up! Yeeeey I already have a little theory that may be also obvious but not going to spoil myself now hah
First 7 eps I didn't like the plot that much abd the looooong exposition to everything bored me but characters are well written and from ep. 8 this really ( or like finally lol) shows. I am intrigued to see how their relationships unfold, there is a very good base for character growth here, I sense some interesting changes happening to most of them. hope to like the drama till the end
Look up Japan’s Unit 731 from WW2. Japan did lots of horrid things during WW2.
Why are you bothered? The user said that the atomic bombs were soneting fair, a form of "justice" - it botheres me even to write it, I never wish to be a part of such discussion. The atomic bombs were dropped from American soldiers on command of their government and they were war atrocity. And yes, Americans did finance the experiments and protected perpetrators - this shows how people who deem the bombs as something that should have been done because of how bad Japanese were, actually were not doing anything out of desire for peace but rather would be on the side of those monsters (the "doctors") when it's for their own "good", peace was nothing for them.
These all happened in The same time frame and around the same events that were discussed here. Yes we should talk about what imperial Japan did (we're already doing it, I know about 731 since my teenage years after my own research, now I am quite a fee years after I first learned about this) but pointing out that the bombs were dropped not from "fair saviours" but people who were fully in the game for power is entirely on the topic after this.mini discussion about Hiroshima was opened here by other users. WWII is a huge war spanning years and many more years of consequences and to study it as a whole is just as important for learning our human lessons, as is tomknow what individual countries did.
I fully disagree - I didnt shift the conversation , much less the problem,.to anywhere, just stated facts that are connected to what happened and should.also not be forgotten - we can agree that nothing shouls be forgotten and there isn't a bad time to.mention anything, eapecially wheb it's on the specific topic.
Look up Japan’s Unit 731 from WW2. Japan did lots of horrid things during WW2.
There were Americans who partially financed the experiments those Japanese did and even went as far as to protect the perpetrators after the war. They bought their researches to use the data against other countries in war.
Expand your knowledge and don't include God in your personal skewed judgement of what's fair. It can never be fair if innocents pay with their lives for the crimes of criminals that took the lives of other innocents. There is no correlation and the bombs were never meant to be some kind of sick idea of "justice",it was all politics and a game for power.
Look up Japan’s Unit 731 from WW2. Japan did lots of horrid things during WW2.
While Japanese never took responsibility for the crimes against humanity they did, Americans also never took real responsibility for the atomic bombs they dropped on innocents even going as far to explain it as "the only way to stop the Japanese" (they still to this day repeat tbis narrative) so fully agree with your comment - both were crimes, both inexcusable.
Hero Legends , Xian Yu , Amidst a snowstorm of love , Best Choice ever , The Legend of Jewelry , Guardians of…
Omgosh, thank you for all those names! Maybe I'm most excited for FSM, Zhang Ling He's two future historical dramas and The Legend of Jewelry. I hope we have good xianxias in 2024, I am enjoying TLI -missed them dramatic fantasy plots, historicals tend to drag a lil more and miss action lol (MJTY was a big exceprion, that was sooooo good but it was in no way a typical historical drama with too much talking abd unnecessary exposition) FSM looks like it would be grand and a beautiful production
I hate how dramas are made based on books or whatever - yall are talking about things that haven't happened since the beginning, this thread is constantly discussing deaths and betrayles that currently have NOTHING to do with the episodes and it's so unnecessary and spoils the whooooooole thing!
I wish none of these dramas were from already existing stories, I wish there never comes a famous show anymore that's made from one of your favourite books and they all scrap those existing plots and decide to make new ones and all you book readers don't have the chance to spoil every single thing and just watch the series like you're supposed to! Sometimes I think they should just make cinema and TV a different entity and write it down as law
Stop with that phoenix revenges and murders....do you even know what episode are we on??? And there are people here talking about how they can't forgive ML or whoever, goinv into whole DEBATES about things from the distant future, it look ridiculous..like I beg your PARDON, forgive for whaaaaaaaaat???
Episode 10: I just wanna say that my jaw literally dropped when Jin Ga Young tried to coerce Do Do Hee into suicide,…
Completely agree with your point! That is illegal coercion and it's almost murder, yes she can be sued for it and it's soooo weird they're going to gloss over it just as her being deamatic and hurt.
She'a evil and has premediated intent to kill, that's not just someone with emotional problems. What would cross the line is if in true Kdrama fashion it wouldn't be taken seriously, which is wild, and if they're going to ignore it it would have been better if they didn't go all this length to include it in the show cause that's for sure not something insignificant or there just for dramatic effect.
The story is loosing steam it had in the beginning now that the whole war for the chairman position is over……
I agree that nothing beats episode 3 and 4 - they had better writing and different feel to them, more interesting. I still generally enjoy the show but do agree that with this drama (and all the other currently airing) the trope of past lives should end for good. I can't imagine they can even sell it to the viewers anymore - unfortunately famous actor can sell it but viewers really shouldn't buy into that, demand better for your free time - this is not Kpop where people blindly "support" their favourites , at leaat it shouldn't be This is pure marketing strategy - sell what sells easy. Past life is the easiest plot conflict imaginable. There is no real character growth with it
Good thing is for bow past life has not really appeared but we know it's coming
P.S. Personally, my LEAST favourite trope is "they knew each other since kids and had childhood romance". Dont.get.me.started.....it's in EVERY (alnost but mostly) Asian drama and I can never fanthom it, because to me it takes away from the meaning of their current relationship, like it makes it less special and it turns into "destiny" what should be personal choice and motives. I will never find it cute, never ever, it's soooo weird, so dragging when shown, so unnecessary....can't grown peiple have complex stories in different periods of life? What is so bad about adult relationships, does everything have to be "cute"???? Let it be natural and make sense, ugh... When I see the childhood sweetheart thing coming my way I turn the other way abd just block that drama from my life, gaahd it's so annoying. Almost as baffling as returning to your ex - whole world before you and you choose first boy you saw/ex partner , so boring 😑End of rant.
Kim Yoo Jung ia a good actress, I like her and her portrayel, first time watching her - she has charisma, prescence and is natural ^^. Song Kang is okay.....ish hah...it's ok though, FL can create chemistry lol
I think Seok Hoon is going to the enemy for information, to be an undercover agent and him turning bad is a misdirect, would be too simple if it was the way shown in the preview. Everyone was suspecting him but can you imagine in the end he does good things...hmmm....we shall see. I like the actor though - Lee Sang Yi, wish his role was a little different cause he's very handsome and a good actor
Drama has cliches but it's entertaining for me , thankfully it quickly resolves plotpoints and doesn't keep us at the same place for dramatic effect (that can turn into drag if they take themselves too seriously ......ahem, Agooddaytobeadog, ahem)
