Even if his motivation was rhe FL I don't think that would be more interesting - it's rather pathetic going after people wanting to do them harm for any stupid "reason". He was a little soul, a guy stuck in his school bullying days,an insecure looser that gets to feel the only little power he could imagine in that way . Such a "person" has no chance of being i interesting in the first place. The drama was good without him
Yes,most women are physically weaker than most men (there are also many exceptions as people are quite diverse and depending on where you live it can be all kind of sizes of people, that's only normal ) There are moves in martial arts and self defense that can grant you the ability to win over someone without using full on strength or letting the opponent overpower you. That's how physically weaker women(or anyone) can win over a bigger man, for example. It maybe a temporary advantage in most cases but with this lil weasel from the drama...naah, she should have bitten him in dog form, he would've cried hah

I didn't really like The Red Sleeve and I quickly forgot almost everything about it. Also, I never watched its last episode.
This has better characterization and story, actors are better, romance is more epic but ....yes, there is a lot of tragedy and brutal scenes . I havent finished the second part yet but I read it has a HE so I guess it's alright in the end . The journey is quite tumultuous though abd heartbreaking . I especially didn't like how the first part ended but there are very strong romantic moments in the second that make up for it.
I wouldn't advise it for someone very impressionable (like me :) still I don't regret watching because of the leads and their story). It is addicting though
Yes, that little bad-boy-wannabe. I think with his size even the FL could have easily taken him down with a slap or two abd that little weasel would be flat on the ground . She can finish him even in dog form

I didn't like the "villain" arc, compared to first episodes it was not well written and the actor couldn't sell the role. It had logical flaws and also sone absurd parts that just felt dumb and dragging . The ending was better though but too short .
Last two eps weren't my thing , I hope next ones are more enjoyable again
The strongest, absolutely strongest part of this drama is not rhe plot but the characters and by that I mean the two main leads and especially Jan Hyun(vut FL is also a very strong character even though I niss her playfulness, poor girl has gone through too much) They feel so real and fleshed out that I feel they outgrew the drama itself and no amount of episodes will be enough for them to live in. I almost can't take them as actors doing their job because I got invested and feel them close, their emotions are so deep and real

The dialogue was written so beautifully and perfectly but what sold it was the delivery. I am left breathless in every pause this actor makes while speaking to her in the last scene - those silences were supposed to be the short pauses for me to take a breath from the words he said but they felt just as strong and suffocating and demanded my attention along with how his eyes hold hers . I could literally feel the way his gaze just took over her searching, scared eyes, I could feel how she just gave up under this desire, love, just unwavering power of this man before her. I can never forget the performance... no, I can never call this a performance, this role will live with me after the series. Their relationship will live on.

That selfish prick that is his little "brother". that dares to villainise Gil Che with no reason, with no truth to his pathetic words. And I also read comments here that say she doesnt "deserve" ML's love... disappointed that people actually say that . She has done nothing truly wrong to deserve this judgement, she literally had the best development in the drama and had so much charm about her even when she was "annoying" to some . Jang Hyun fell in love with her for a reason and chose to love her with all his heart, to be devoted to her for a reason. - she is a worthy human being and a great woman that totally deserves him even if she didn't make the same sacrifices he made - he was in the position to do so and she wasn't, they're different people with different roles. They are equal , they don't need anyone's approval to be right for eachother. He was fulfilling his role as the man that loves his woman, she still didn't have those feelings in the beginning but she also wasn't the same person and she wasn't obligated to return them. Actually, there were many times where he didnt communicate or act mature towards her, he played with her. It is a fact that he often left her when he should have stayed to show her and prove how he feels abd who he is as a person. If what he wanted was her heart, abd he really did, his actions didnt show it in the beginning, he should have stayed and fought for her relentlessly but then the story afterwards would be different.
Also, the other character I really dont like is that boring pathetic princess. I even read she is a strong woman....what?!? She is a deranged lunatic that hunts people for enjoyment, that is ready to ruin the life of the person she "loves " and take away his right to choose. She doesnt want a partner(nor she can be one) equal for her, she wants a servant - she knows not what is respect so naturally she doesn't get to have it in return. I find her character very lacking and badly written, the screen time she had is too much for what abd who she was .
you'll be lucky if you can look as good as him in your 40's
Most people don't look as good as him in their 20s, he was born with good features and on top of that still looks younger than his age 20 something people have back pain while he is doing fight scenes, sending people flying in the air.
Most men dont look their best or manly before 30 anyway, not to mention they start maturing after 40 if ever 🙂
Sometimes it really, really it's too tragic. Ending of first part broke me and I hated the writer'a decision, second part at tines has so much brutality that Infeel myself becoming numb while watching to protect myself. Maybe the romance feels so strong and epic because of the tragedy but at this rhus point I need it to have happiness, I need them to really be together . I am at ep5 I know it would yet again be very tragic abd don't know if Im ready. Honestly, still don't know how I feel a out this drama. The leads though live in my mind through my whole day, I cant stop thinking about them and wanting to see them and make sure everything will be alright - as if they are real people. They shouldn't have my fate of totally avoiding spoilers 😭 At first I thought people were talking how this was heavy abd dark because of the war, I thought there would be almost no romance and was happy for the little moments when there was. Then I was glued to the screen exactly because of the unexpected painful romance like from those old movies, not like from other dramas, like from a Victorian novel , like Titanic or Wuthering heights or Gone with the Wind(if that can be called romance,) and THEN BE PREPARED future watchers!!! The ending was confusion and pain and it had the purpose to indice shock but for what??? I hope there is a point in this whole absurd mess in the second part (read that it's a HE) but this drama is hard melo abd not everyone can appreciate si ethibg like that .

Wanted to say how invested I was, how well done it was, how i credible the acting was, how the love story broke me apart, how I couldn't stop watching and lost sleep over this and theeennnn...the last 5 minutes?!?!?!!!!!!!!?!?!
