Wouldn't say it's a skill. Its a weakness disguised as "strength". Even if no consequences from other people she will go mad from insecurities with time, they are already eating her alive from inside. She is manipulating herself into thinking she's achieving anything.

The desperate pick me energy is felt from kilometres, only other losers are drawn to her and that's why only when FL was insecure and a "loser" was she her friend. Once she gained confidence she cant be drawn to those type of people anymore they are left to fend for themselves and with others like them - Park Min Whan, the old dude... wouldn't be surprised if Su Min married the old dude and spent her life with someone like him - that's the highest peak she can reach with the energy ahe exudes. All the confident intelligent people dont mingle with her lol and that's exactly why she tries to bring them down to her level so she can have any type of "connection". She seems very empty inside

I know he's from the future but why that heart her father drew is on his chest - does the heart tattoo have a secret power lol? and who created it first - the dad when he drew it or ML? I dont quite get it well chronologically from the drama....

He doesn't look older 😆 He just looks his age and doesnt have the most boyish look - his face doesn't have a single fine line, what mid 30s?! 😅

She won't get anything out of it in the end, just like in real life by the way. Losers stay losers.

Even if it sounds cheesy(but it isn't!) to some, only actually good people connected to their inner self make it big in life and take from it the most - personal real life examples.
And I have seen how actually good and honest people be having more money and success in the end , sooooo manipulation can take you only so far, after it you're by yourself and you have to like yourself when you reach that moment. It's a scary moment for some

Ok, this is good! And strangely realistic, it's almost uncanny.
Sometimes humour in horrifying scenes is possibly exactly the way people normalise abuse in real life just to cope with reality. Its real and fresh at the same time. I like how it's going, it has quite a lot of originality
And the characters are exactly like real people. Also the way her "friend" uses her and leeches off her is a way of abuse that I havent personally seen in other dramas. Like if we didnt see it through the eyes of FL, we probably wouldn't know it's happening, there are no evident signs about what's going on and how deranged it is and ugly. Even FL couldn't see it, she was truly a victim.

Like even the abusers dont see themselves as abusers, they really do see themselves as good people and believe the lies they say just as mich as their victim because their action are superficially "good" and acceptable. That "soul bond" ...probably looks beautiful looking outside but one of the people in the relationship was with time completely lifeless, the other just took everything and did it with "love". Just ew. I am astonished how much power FL has left despite the trauma, what an amazing character

Oh yes, I really like her as Feng Yin. I have watched Lu Si in roles in which she played a more innocent type of character and also coming-of-age character , here is similar in a way but being a queen and an authority figure with confidence ...I didnt expect to like that even more!
Like you may think by they way she looks (given her age abd more youthful look)that she suits the more "innocent" type of roles but on the contrary, her acting is somehow better in a more outwardly powerful role and I wish she could venture more into that, I see much potential. I didn't expect to appreciate the serious but bold Feng Yin more than A Yin.

Many have said she is good in comedy and yes, she can be, but the serious characters in my opinion suit her more

Their romance is so simple, so satisfying, touching and gives you the flutters. My lovelies finally 💓💓 Such a power couple yet at the same time Hong Yi is finally using his masculine energy in the right way, how could YS not be so shy, girl had them red cheeks and couldn't say a thing hahaha I was grinning the whole time. And how he began to trick her and woe her in but then made himself clear and she just couldn't resist , he didnt even give her a chance to consider options😅 But she also made herself crystal clear earlier so ..she was playing the "shy game", too lol

Wish they had more scenes , would have been better because with how they are like polar opposites and their chemistry...could have made for some fire romantic scenes if this wasn't so censored

And ugh that ML .. didn't help that I didnt like him from the beginning for so many reasons(and yes that won't change) he had to even interrupt their kiss, my favourites!Like, when will he just piss of so I watch this in peace?!?! Jeez 🙄 His character was such a nuisance in a bad way - totally inconsistent and at the same time consistently being the pesky prick on your finger that you cant see but it's there, ruining things. This series could totally do without him , I swear 🙂

I want a drama with Lee Sang Yi as a ML - right now 🙂! !!

More scenes with Hong Yi and Yan Shuang! Come on ,quicklyyy, give uusss 😭 Girl is doing the right thing - give him the cold shoulder and make him move that lil brain of his. Im sorry to say, I like Hong Yi character mostly(he is a favourite here actually)but....he is not the brightest star in the sky, that boy 🙂

YS moving on is a good development for her, she is wise and finally learned her lesson , if he makes her sad one more time.....💪!!!

These last two eps, and the one when he saw A Yin in NetherWorld, when he approached FY with the suspicion that she is A Yin...like after everything, if you really saw A Yin and decide to just approach her like that - well, you sure have the audacity.it seems he doesnt really ubderstand how he was wrong - he says he isnsorry but continues with the possesiveness and the control.

FY caught that so quick cause it was obviously disrespectful when he crossed boundaries like that. he almost became a stalker with his questioning and appearing out if nowhere. She told him off more than once and he continued doing what he was doing, thinking that he just gets the right to question people (also in their own home!) if it's aboit "his" A Yin ,ugh, chills. He always had them red flags under the innocent disguise

If this was not romance xianxia, FY would remain that powerful phoenix queen and build a life of her own without looking back, not even going to stay friends with her toxic ex and his family lol I hope she humbles them and then be happy

well yes, leaders show by example, I liked actually that he agreed. So as a person with future big responsibility (and present) he has to be the one to make the most sacrifices actually, I think it's normal and it was a good thing he agreed and was humble. His next big lesson - stand up to injustice and use your power, dont be subserviant when that is not needed , know when to step forward abd protect like a man and a leader. He knows humbleness well but his biggest trial is to be more proactive and cherish what he has

Have to agree, the pastelly colors suit her more since her skin doesn't have that much warmth to it and her features are a little too soft for those empress style, regal clothing and sharper hairstyles and makeup. She still looks good in them but her best looks are different

The empress style, dramatic queenly clothing (if I may call them that hah) are more in the style and general aura of elegant and regal looking actresses such as Dilraba and Bai Lu, also Cecilia Wu, Ni Ni...Softer looks though look amazing and very pretty on LuSi, not becauae of her age but just features, they are elegant in a different way, more "innocent". She can act very well the queen but ahe shines best in another light. just personal observations

I dont even see her as arrogant - she puts healthy and much needed boundaries, much respect to her, hopefully ahe continues to be this new confident person

A cleaner and a cook is nothing insulting I think, it was just a way for him to compensate for the drama that would supposedly be created after the marriage was called off(not that he agreed to the marriage but he still is close to the people in his life that make the decisions for it, unfortunate for him him and often even more to those aroubd him, passivness is I think a character flow in many cases). Alrhough he is a true god, he does have the ability but not the authority because he has to earn the respect. he is still young in the eyes of many, in some eyes he's a pushover and it's on him to proove otherwise abd deserve the title or learn to make compromises and ignore intrusive people's talk.

Phoenix queen purposefully played that trick on him, he has things to learn still about life and consequences from decisions. he has to also learn to stand up for himself and his people, it's all on him really to make amends and pay for past mistakes. Such small things are alao part of his journey
