On Hu Yi Xuan Dec 7, 2020
Person Hu Yi Xuan
She is possibly the queen of transformation Cdramas much like Zhao Lusi is the queen of time travel Cdramas. Hu Yi Xan became a cat, a white haired witch, and a zodiac transforming princess. Zhao time traveled thru an accident, thru a love simulation game, and thru overwork. Lol. I like these two actress and wish to see them in more dramas.
On The Sleepless Princess Dec 7, 2020
Side note: Hu Yi Xuan is probably the queen of transformation dramas by now. She was a cat in Dali Temple, a white haired witch in My Dear Destiny, and now a zodiac transforming princess. Lol.

My Sleepless Princess is an underrated drama of 2020 and I hope more people get to watch it so the ratings will go up! Seriously almost all aspects of the show are great. Casting is A+++ with all the actors perfect for their roles, the chemistry between the leads, side characters, and even the families are perfect! The plot is very fresh and interesting and they actually continued with a main theme and still add conflict after conflict. It’s like peeling an onion with the more skin you remove the more you cry but still satisfying with sweet scenes.

I also liked that the story is more on the romance and not on political conflicts so it’s easier to watch. There are also a lot of surprising developments in the story that will catch you by surprise and magnify your irritation but I think this made the story more interesting and veered away from the cdrama cliches.

Ending may not be good for most but I agree that it’s a bit realistic. But the I also welcome the extra scenes with open arms because it was the ending that most of us wanted even if it wasn’t clearly explained how it happened.

There is nobody now Im going through my watchlist I can't remember why had it, who were the main leads lol I didn't…
Initially there was Ju Jingyi and Song Weilong in rhe cast list. But maybe rhe rumors were cleared up so no associates actors now.

Love Zheng Ye Cheng he so cute and an very talented actor but with Ju Jing Yi ? I thinks her acting is very one…
The mess that is Class of Her Own is not entirely JJY fault. Admittedly she has limited acting/emotional range, but the producers decision to pair her with Song Wei Long who is also a beautiful but emotionally challenged actor was the nail in the coffin. Just look at JJY with ZZH and you’ll see that if paired with the right actor JJH can create chemistry.
On The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion Dec 5, 2020
If you liked legend of Yunxi, you’ll LOVE the blooms at Ruyi pavilion more!

I 50/50 hated Yunxi because of the cycle of misunderstanding and the noble idiot sacrifices and 2D villains that keep repeating. Also fhe irritating ending. But everything in Ruyi is better for me.

Maybe it’s partly because of the better source material, but I also think the screenwriter has redeemed herself. She’s gotten better at making conflicts that hurt as cliffhangers but then gets resolved after and episode or two. So just watch everything at 1.5x so it doesn’t irritate you that much.

Also the villains are never repetitive and 2D and I like how they assigned different villains at different “stages” of the story and that at the end of the story, these villains actually had some reason why they acted that way. Unlike the villain/s in Yunxi who was just a villain because they needed one in the story.

And for Ju Jing yi and Zhang Zehan shippers like me, I love it that ZZH gets to showcase more of his emotions/acting here and as usual JJY is just really meant to have great chemistry with ZZH even if all she does is be cute and pesky. Lol.
This may be an unnecessary spin off for the original drama, but the Ruyi team actually made a “disclaimer” that the spin off is like “fan service” for fans that want to see more of our Ju Jing Yi and Zhang Ze Han ship. So that in itself makes it 100% relevant. Nobody forced anyone to watch this 4 extra episodes. Just end it at 40 if you’re content with the ending. But as a JJH x ZZH shipper I’ll take any content I can get with these two. And I’m also glad to know some tidbit about the behind the scene drama (eg. Script were in since March 2017 maybe same time as Legend of Yunxi? Then there were some disagreements and restructuring and they only started late last 2019).

I’m just praying for more collaborations between Ju Jing Yi and Zhang Zehan.

Can you recommend me some dramas where the FL can act well on both sides? And if possible, with less noble idiocy…
Agree. Bai Lu’s characters are a sure bet for strong female leads! I especially enjoyed her first lead role, King is Not Easy. Even there you can see she can act really well.
On Eternal Love Rain Dec 2, 2020
This has the same production quality as iQiyi’s My Fantastic Mr Right and Lovely Swords girl but not the same level of complexity in the story. But it’s ok for me since the series is short enough (30mins 24 eps) and have a few sweet and funny moments every episode. Just finished the 6 episodes in one run because this is actually a breather from watching the much more serious and longer Blooms at Ruyi Pavillion.

Can’t wait for more episodes! Also good thing that the second lead in Professional single is getting a leading role too!

I’m around 10 episodes in and I quite like it.Although I see some comments saying the FL doesn’t trust the…
I’m at ep 24 and thankfully the misunderstandings barely last for 2 episodes. Which is a relief. I guess this is the advantage of lots of characters because they can create a lot of conflict and not resort to repeated misunderstanding between the FL & ML.

I like this better than Legend of Yunxi because ML’s problems are more realistic compared to the monster/poison issue in LOY.
On The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion Dec 1, 2020
I love JJY and ZZH together. And this has the same writer as legend of Yunxi, but I was still surprised now at Ep 19 how Xu Jin (JJH) character is as gullible as Yunxi’s character. Agh I’ve been fast forwarding Kiki’s Scenes but I guess I will be fast forwarding the future scenes until these idiotic misunderstanding gets cleared.

PS. I guess Xu Jin completely forgot who her master was warning her against because the moment shit happened she went straight to the arms of that person. Grrrr. Kudos to the writer for creating irritating villains and dense af FL to balance out the sweet scenes between JJY and ZZH.

There is a guy(lead one) who really looks like him in 'emperors and me'' its amazing. He really looks like as…
I think that’s Gao Tai Yu (Qin Shang) the Male lead in the emperors and me.
On The Comic Bang Nov 10, 2020
Why would they bring back this ill fated ship? If the chemistry in In a Class of Her Own was any indication of their chemistry, I’m seeing this will be another snore fest in the romance department. Please swap Wei Long with Zhang Zhe Han.
On Ju Jing Yi Nov 10, 2020
Person Ju Jing Yi
So far the only Ju Jing Yi show I love is Legend of Yunxi and Ruyi Pavillion. She can act and she’s really pretty in a natural way, her co-stars in her other dramas are also good looking but their chemistry just doesn’t cut it (Ex Legend of White Snake and In a Class of Her Own).

I hope she can create more projects with Zhang Zhe Han but ZZH is fully booked until 2021 so I’m praying by 2022 they’ll meet again. And I hope they can also collaborate on OST since ZZH is also a singer. Fighting JJY and ZZH shippers!

I’m happy General’s Lady will get S2 even if they’re under Youku. But dang why can’t Lover Better than Immortality have a S2 too? T.T My Zhao Lusi and Li Hongyi ship is still waiting to sail.
On General's Lady Nov 4, 2020
I am still waiting for Yoyo English channel to finish subbing this (15ep currently). But from the clips I can say that the chemistry is spot on. I think Tang Min is one of the new C actress that can have chemistry with anything even a rock. Like Zhao Lusi but less cute but more on the pretty side. I didn’t like Ceasar Wu in his previous drama, Chang’an Youth, because he came of like a wooden guy and had zero chemistry with the FL. But dang Tang Min just brought out the steamy romance from Ceasar Wu. I’m excited to watch Tang Min’s future ancient dramas. I hope she gets more leading roles after this.

Title Love in Time
Hi, I was planning to watch this drama, but after some comments, I wonder if it's worth to watch? Is FL really…
Watch it at 1.5x and you’re ok. This is one of the few Cdramas that I watched real time without the episodes being complete and the scenes are interesting. The other drama I watched like this is Girlfriend with Nuanuan. In both series the FL loves the ML later on. So you do get that the FL is emotionless. But I guess why Girlfriend FL is ok because she’s not rich so she really do need to work hard to save their opera. But the FL here is very rich (hello gucci slippers) so comes off as very spoiled specially in episodes 21-23. But so far overall experience is ok.

I’m at the middle of this drama and I fear they will be pulling off the same idiotic decision in Tang Dynasty tour. There are other ways to do it bruh! Please don’t ruin your hapiness!
On Maiden Holmes Oct 27, 2020
I’m currently watching this drama after much deliberation but I just wanted to gush about Zhang Li He. Dang he’s so good looking with a hint of Lee Min Ho! I hope he gets more project in the future since he can act. Though he has to improve his stance to look more like a military man.
