You forgot accidental kiss when falling, coughing blood though not all female leads will cough blood but invariably someone in the drama or around her will.

I think all the subscription channels aired on same day just different time zones but I can’t be sure.

If there are 2 parts to a drama, I like it when the 1st part does not end in cliff hanger but gives some sort of happy closure in case the 2nd part takes a long time to show.

So it’s another ‘ foreign ‘ influence from people moving around. Overtime, people will forget who influenced who. Some of these happened over thousands of years ago. We just need to advocate tolerance, compassion and world peace. It’s not that we forget the wrong doings but it’s to move forward and not dwell in anger and do knee jerk reactions all the time. I love “ Under the Power” as well as” A girl like me”. Both have beautiful leads (Seven Tan and Ren Jia Lin and Guan Xiao Tong and Neo Hou) and likeable characters. I also like TheLegends. - wonderful pairing of Bai Lu and Xu Kai and “ I will never let you go” with Ariel Lin and Vin Zhang. Miss Truth is also very good. These are all historical romance though the Legends is more Xianxia.

Right regarding relationship. His aunt is Huo Jun Hua. Her brother Marquis Huo is emperor’s sworn brother. HJH married Ling Yi and had a son by him. When the Huo family was massacred, she was there with her son, the real LBY. In order to save her nephew, she switch his identity with her dead son. When she returned home with her nephew disguised as her son, she found out that her husband had married one of her female family members and divorced him pretending to be crazy. Heard somewhere that her fake insanity became real. I think LBY guessed what happened, but he was only 5 years old. Under the pre tense of hating his step mother he has an adversarial relationship with Ling Yi but he does not know everything and has been gathering evidence. He got the Marquis Xiao to admit to providing inferior weapons to the Huo family army but the reinforcements were also very late for some reason. He had asked the Huo family messenger to look further into it. I think based on a Chinese video clip, his aunt will provide him more clues on what happened. Child abondonment or children left behind while parents go elsewhere to work is a very real situation in China today. This video shows what happens to the psyche of children left behind. CSS’s plight was due to war but the situation now is at the cost of Children’s young lives in exchange for development. Many parents understand they need to visit their children more but many don’t. I don’t doubt the author thought about this issue when writing her novel. She sure has a lot of examples and information to draw from in writing about familial relationships in such situations. Since this drama portrays what happens to a family when they leave a child behind, I thought I should share this video in case you haven’t seen it. I have seen other videos like this but usually it’s from missionaries. This is the first one I’ve seen where the reporters are allowed in by the government to do so much filming.

Do you know why they still do this sort of thing? It’s bad enough that they criticize but to critise a kid left behind with grandparents who often live in the countryside and are very poor, is upsetting. Ha ha. I thought that was awkward because clearly the actress wasn’t anything close to 16. Don’t know why they didn’t have a younger actress do that bit role. dilraba, Lusi, seven tan and even Ariel Lynn could have pulled it off. Now you will have to just watch to see what we mean. loL.

Yes apparently the Crown prince is not cut out to rule. I read excerpts that his wife is responsible for a lot of cronyism and LBY had to step in to clean up his messes. And secretly, the crown prince does not want to rule if he had a choice. Not sure if the drama will show this.

Another good actor. His facial expressions and responses to situations are so unexpected and funny. He actually looks very imperial in his clothes
