What a great drama! This is a balm to my highschool woes. I felt healed, seen, and validated. All the actors gave justice to their roles. More like this, pleaseee.
Im loving this drama but do they really think she looks like a different person just with lipstick and eyeliner?…
We have to look more using the societal lenses that time. Widows and of noble families at that aren't expected to be out and about in the public. They have their servants to do their errands for them and they're expected to come out only for rare social gatherings. But considering her stature, she's more expected to just stay at home and take care of the household and kid/s.
So perhaps, even if someone recognizes her, they'd push to think otherwise considering it's impossible for her to be outside her home and be sociable.
Am I the only one who was thinking that while doing sucide Choi Yi Jae killed someone else alone with him and…
You're not alone! At ep 2 opening scene, I thought he landed on Jisu and killed her. Then on ep 3 opening scene, I thought a baby died as well. Now that Jisu is apparently alive till ep 4, I thought the owner of the wallet with Yee Jae's picture was his mom, then I eventually I was proven wrong by that columbarium scene.
I love how the characters are staying true to their roles so far. Of course, the Grandpa, being the former CEO is also very smart and well-connected. He's always one step ahead his daughter-in-law.
As for the current CEO, she's also annoyingly smart. And we have TaeHa who's also owning up his smart role.
While I like the Grandpa so far, I feel like his two-faced self has also been used against TaeHa and it will be revealed soon.
Someone mentioned that Tae Ha's aunt in modern world is Yeon Woo's mom maid in Joseon era
I see. Thank you! I was wondering if maybe she's her sister but considering how in other scenes her clothes weren't like that of the nobles', she must have been of lower stature.
Hurt Road is one of my favorite DAY6 tracks, MeloDay really gave it justice. I really like how meticulous yet encouraging Kim Min Seok was during the recording. YoungK also went above and beyond by adding new lyrics to make this song their own. The team really did sooooo well during the performance and I can't help but feel proud of them. They all stood out.
I came in not knowing it would be a full blown makjang 😂 Too late to stop though, I like the character of FL and heyyyy we have Sunghoon, and they look good together. So I'm on board!

She's considered a senior actress.
Currently on ep 3 and I'm loving it so far.
