Who is the girl that you meant? I think it's still okay if she romance the mid twenty guy or something. You will be collapse if you saw a 17-18 years old girl married the emperor in his 50-70 years old. But it's a normal practice in ancient times. You can't brought the thought from modern world into ancient era.

Actually i am so bored to explain this things repeatedly in MDL because some ppl keep bringing modern minds into ancient times. This is a basic thing actually. When you watch a period drama then you should know + accept the whole practice in ancient times. It's not a big deal 17 years old girl with 20+ years old guy. They are definitely still a young couple! Also, nowadays, period dramas always give story about young people, it's NOT like the couple is 17 years old girl with 50-70 years old man.

Yes. Sometimes, the celebs are even don't know what the toxic fandoms did behind their back. They just suffered the consequences. But i was really upset with their annoying response yesterday. They just see everyone with ill intention. I bet if some ppl here dislike the show and give their honest review about it, the die hard fans of the actress will defend the drama to death + bully that person without mercy like paranoid syndrome fans. I already saw several cases here in MDL. You know, people love something or not is really a subjective matter and we can't force our opinion to others.

Daisy Li is very good at acting. Zhou Jun Wei is also still okay.

Some short/mini dramas also had great acting. For example Hard to Find, Love & Bid Farewell, Fortune Writer, Butterflied Lover, Provoke, Dawn is Breaking, A Familiar Stranger, etc. They have full length drama vibes with awesome cinematography. All of them around 15-20 mins per eps.

Actually, these kind of toxic fans are the main suspect who made some neutral ppl suddenly become the antis of the actress. Attacking ppl without reason or give annoying response to others when the drama is airing.

Yeah. I was so SURPRISED with some ppl who have paranoid syndrome in this MDL. It's not that i am taking sides between author vs production team. It's their business. As a neutral person, i was afraid that it would affect the broadcasting schedule bcs we have part 2 here.

Sometimes, ppl who suddenly bully others without reason is the FL toxic fans, it made me lazy to ask something when the drama is airing. I am very sick of it.

You misunderstood something. The author that accused the production team is not novel author. It was author from another book that wrote about Tang Dynasty fashion and make up. He accused that production team didn't ask permission about using his own design from his book. But now the problem has been resolved. The author already gave positive response to production team apology statement.

Nothing is wrong with bring it up here. At least other ppl clarification brought us the recent news. So everybody can receive the good news after they knew the problem. Even MDL front page also wrote this news from a few hours ago and they didn't include the whole update how the author responded to production team so the issue has been resolved.

There is costume and make up controversies for this drama? I heard that the Tang Dynasty Make-up book author claimed that the production team didn't get his permission/license to use the certain detail of his own design for some make up, costumes, and accesories.

Hope it would not become an obstacle for PART 2 🥲 i prefer they just release part 2 back to back before anything happened again 😭😭😭

I think her choice of sentence is so wrong if she really meant that. It could be a misunderstanding when ppl interpreted her comment.

The first thought that comes to my mind that she said "He is a good actor, but doesn't look good" (not seen well is a confusing sentence btw)

No one denied that he is so handsome in KMLM except they are blind.

But most of viewers are disappointed with KMLM because they didn't get what it promised in the beginning 😅 for them, it's like expectation vs reality.

Actually KMLM is a worth watching drama. It's very interesting but we need to see this drama as a standalone. Not fully adaptation of its original novel. Their expectations were the biggest reason why the novel fans/viewers that were promised with dark story, filled the drama with negative reviews. Just because they can't get the original plots.
