FL got her period in The Long Ballad.SFL got period cramps in Legend of Fei.
Hmm no, in TLB he carried her back and then let a woman attend to her. In LOF the FL accompanied her to buy medicine, which is how they escaped death when their inn was burned down.
No love for Xing Yue? She's sooo adorable. She's well-respected because of her ability and position, but her personality is like a child. She doesn't care about anything, her job is literally sleeping (having prophetic dreams), and when she's awake, all she does is eat. Such a mood 😝
She's pretty and has a really friendly-looking face. Why is she always playing evil or annoying characters? She's usually type-cast as the crazy jealous girl.
This is pretty good for a mini drama. I like that the FL is cute without being annoying, and she's actually a smart investigator herself instead of a useless sidekick.
The ML is Qin Yang Ming NOT Sunny Wang so the cast list needs to bw updated
I think it's hilarious that an actor named Qin Yang Ming is playing twins named Qin Yang and Qin Ming. The exact same Chinese characters and everything.
the twins were actually the daughters of the tea leader gang?? yu xuan's father was the one who killed their father…
NYX thinks the tea gang leader killed his father, but the tea gang survivors think NYX's father killed their leader. So obviously there is more to the story.
One thing I am wondering. After that former maid told everyone about the actions of the real Nie Sangyu the common…
That's why she developed the cheaper formula for the face cream so that normal people can afford it. At first she was just selling to the elites and celebrities, but after they trashed her store and refused to buy her stuff, she started selling to commoners who aren't in the same gossip circles and only care about the quality of the product.
FL's Master Pei Yin gave her a ring so that she'd appear like a man to others, esp to ML. Pei Yin allowed ML to…
That's not a plot hole. Remember, at the end of the night of their wedding, she ordered him (using the Word Spirit) to forget her face, voice, and everything that happened that night. That's why he couldn't recognize her or remember who saved him in the water. But the guards remember her. In the scene when he's drunk, the guards took a while to recognize her, probably because of the ring.
However, what I don't understand is how Sunny Fox got blamed for kidnapping the bride when the guards saw ML carrying her out. That might be the real plot hole.
How is it so far? Much romance? Any love triangles? Is this wuxia?
It's hard to categorize because it's all over the place and I can't really tell where the plot is going. It has some elements of wuxia, comedy, and romance but I would classify it mainly as fantasy. It's not really the xianxia type of fantasy though; the primary theme is people with exceptional abilities, kind of like the mutants in X-Men.
It's funny how the poster makes it look like an ordinary prince-maid relationship, and it has a peaceful and elegant vibe, while in the actual drama that couldn't be farther from the truth.
I love a badass, morally ambiguous FL. Acting, production value, and fight scenes are exceptional for a micro-drama, and in some ways even comparable to full length dramas.
If I'm not mistaken, I think we've had gay brothels before, but SFL might be the first bi character in a Chinese drama?
I had a bit of a crush on this actress back in Castle in the Sky S2 even though that drama was kind of "meh." Honestly she's too old now to be acting all childish like she does here. I don't know why her character is written this way, as she doesn't have the demeanour of a ruler at all, even when she doesn't have to pretend to be weak anymore. Overall, for a short-episode drama the plot is pretty good; I just wish the FL didn't have such a stereotypical C-drama personality. I do like the 2nd FL who's not only super hot but also a badass soldier.
how is that the rat He Yaun Ting didnt get his punishment ? i mean he shoot an arrow at them and nothing happend…
On the one hand, it's understandable what he did because he's loyal to a different country and getting rid of your biggest nemesis in your enemy state is par for the course. On the other, he's a villain insofar as he tried to invade and restart the war during the peace negotiations. He values victory and dominion over Jin more than peace and prosperity, and it's clear that he won't stop ("As long as you're still alive, it's not over").
Yes that was too unbelievable how they fell off a cliff and recovered so fast. 😂
People rarely die falling off cliffs in Chinese dramas lol. Also, they actually only fell a short distance. You can tell from when Prince Ying found them.
But the ML's hairstyle, ugh! 🤮
