Weird, but I can understand with the limited time left for the series, they definitely had to make some strong editing choices to make it head the direction it needs to for the finale

Thanks. It's one of the most frustrating parts, but also to a degree satisfying because at least we the viewers don't have to have a misunderstanding of our TTJ....we know why, even if the rest of their universe doesn't. We can still root for our blood spitting champion to win the day.

Me too. I rewatched SL while I was waiting for the latest episodes of TTEOTM to drop. I'm super happy with that drama except the last 30 seconds of it of course 😂

idk if you've seen The Starry Love or not, but that has a good mix of comedy, tragedy, adventure, love ect all swirled into one. I'm hoping that BFTB took some lessons learned from TSL about how you can have funny moments in a serious situation to make it better. It really added a unique flavor to the drama and worked well with that script.

The ones who could say hey TTJ has a reason and he didn't do this that or the other thing it was actually someone else, they never got a chance to tell that to anyone. And of course now TTJ has the power and the throne of the Devil God, so who's going to believe that he's doing this for a reason, that he doesn't want evil to win? He killed his shifu because he had to, not because TTJ was evil but to protect shifu from turning to a devil, but without witnesses...it looks really bad for TTJ.

I think for me one of the hardest parts is that we as viewers have much more of the whole story than any of the characters do.

I'm dying to see the last 2 episodes back to back, hopefully they'll do that! Otherwise I'll have to wait until the last one is released before I start watching the 2 last ones. I'm looking forward to BFTB, I think it will be a little more lighthearted, at least compared to this one!

I guess maybe the mortals at least don't have the full story of what happened 10k years ago, but our leads have some more insider information since they lived it too, you'd think they'd have been more wary of him. Probably has to do with that whole biological parents are to be trusted above all others mentality?

Been waiting for his next project after the Red Sleeve broke my poor overly romantic heart into a million pieces...hopefully get a happier ending in this one!

Since we have so much time before the next episodes drop, I'm tempted to watch the first 20 episodes again....cause I bet I'll understand even more now than I did the first time through
