I want to be prepared for the unemployed peps who gonna sabo this drama tom. Will we see their dedication once…
I am hoping all three airing dramas (this, Blood River, Whispers of Fate) have joined hands to air together intentionally so that the black water marketing accounts won't know which to sabotage (or will be hired to sabotage or support different ones) and won't target any of them so brutally as they would be able to do if airing alone, and that we therefore won't see as much of that for this October runππ I can dream, lol.
4 set of people are fighting with 4 others. Then they get tired and the ML comes and asks the one with monks if…
It certainly isn't a scene that can be taken seriously π€£
It breaks immersion (in that it breaks the third wall), but given he isn't going to live through his next fight without those powers without some serious plot armor (tho as the protagonist he likely would get some) and he knows he's going to get them from those eight masters, it'd be weirder if he wasn't following those eight masters down that cliff in my eyes. (I've not read the book to know how it played out there, but I'd imagine much more serious, and possibly leaning a lot more into the, 'I feel I owe you because I was unable to save my old friend AKA your dad (hence why I am carrying around his sword sheathe) so that's why I'm giving you my powers since you're avenging him' angle, and the whole conflicting orthodox/unorthodox energy being potentially lethal to the person being injected with it, so not necessarily a kindness on behalf of those other 4 to do it either.)
He uses his own voice to dub himself sometimes, tends to be a production choice I think. This one and Mysterious…
LCZ is dubbed with another VA, XQS/XMM is dubbed by CY, but I agree his own voice is beautiful, so soothing to the ear for me too π₯° (tho I did love LCZβs voice as well.)
Did cheng yi ever use his voice or was dubbed by an actor the whole time
He uses his own voice to dub himself sometimes, tends to be a production choice I think. This one and Mysterious Lotus Casebook are the two with his own voice Iβve seen. Most of his others Iβve watched were dubbed by a different voice actor. (The one who did the monk from Blood of Youth π)
Question: Does anyone know if the βmilesβ in the synopsis is right or should it be βliβ? Beijing and Nanjing I donβt think are that far apart (2200) unless a Chinese mile is different to a Western one?
I just started this , I'm Episode 4 and it's my first Cheng Yi drama , now I can be sure those who say Cheng Yi…
China has some great actors π₯° This one got me out of a drama slump and was my first CY drama too, heβs very good, along with all the cast in this one π₯°
right? I donβt know about everyone else but all my theories were so wrong ππ I still remember being so…
[I also wondered why Xiao MingMing cant meet with Qiushui in the system realm? I mean LiNan and Kaiyan can meet. What your theory on this?]
oooh, i also wondered this. my semi-theory on why XMM and XQS never meet but Kaiyan and LN do is that LN was never "just" a modern person in the real world, but rather was XKY who somehow teleported /to/ the real world first and has been LARPing LN with two sets of memories in that world, the inverse of how XMM is LARPing XQS and has two sets of memories in this novel world, but only 1 in the modern world. And XMM's actions sent LN back to his original world/body, which he obviously hated because he's read the book and knows he's a throwaway character fridged early who no one in the novel even remembers later.
Cuz in Ep33, LN was like "I am you, you are me" and "Have you forgotten how good we had it over there? We got whatever we wanted; we did whatever we wanted" basically, referring to the real world life. But for LN to be saying that Kaiyan should be remembering this (as in, they'd both lived it, not just 'see how I lived there', it means that Kaiyan must have gone /from/ the novel world /to/ real life /before/ XMM went to the System's world to become LN.
So maybe the reason that LN is even inventing the "Magic AI Interactive Writing System" to write the books for his company in the first place (presumably to save on ghost-writer fees, I bet he'd do LLM translation or machine translation also to scrimp paying his translators, the stingy quality-cutting jerk) is because he himself has somehow travelled from the novel world to the real world via either this or some other magical method (not the System hence why his interface is different, but what the System is based off, hence why the virtual world XMM sees is similar), and has always been aware of himself as a character. (Hence why he also has a chip on his shoulder against golden cheat leads, whilst shamelessly exploiting their popularity to profit but also simultaneously despising any readers who like the genuine Wuxia books or authors who write them, and especially hating anyone who likes the book he's actually from.)
