Gong Ziyu is mostly a weak character that is way more innocent comparing to others, because of how he was raised. More on the "trust above everything" side and not that eloquent, but he slowly changes and develops as a character.

I hate seasons for many reasons. Too many eps, renewal just because the company gains money and the worst thing of all, you can't know when it will end and if you will get to see the ending before it gets canceled.

MDL mostly works with volunteers and of course the admins.
Generally speaking, if you see something that is wrong you can edit it yourself (providing the source). Constant changes are being made and if something is accepted, it means that there is a source to back it up.

I hate the seasons thing.

My worry is not really the number of eps, because like you said, usually 16 (or more) episode dramas can get draggy. My problem is that many times less episodes mean more seasons, something that is slowly but actually changing in the korean industry. More and more series have more than one season or more than one part lately...

It's good. Definitely better than many GMMTV shows. It does have its flaws, but generally it is an easy and entertaining watch and surely different than what GMMTV usually brings to the table.
