Yes, because of govt regulations they have to split it in two. Now they made the new rules of airing it within 12 months apart so we probably will not see until next summer. So annoying.

I feel for CX and the actor is doing a marvelous job at portraying but he is the last choice I would hope she would pick. I feel sorry for him as he is the most lonely character but I can't get into those childhood love kind of tropes. Idk why writers always like to have all these love lines where they just live in agony and not ever confess to the girl. If he had so from the beginning then XY might not have even gone with Jing.

He did tried to explain to her in the novel and she understood that he was drugged but at that time they were still under the impression that it's still his child. They have no choice but to part because he can't marry her. She will want to be the second wife given her status and CX would not allow her either so they had to part. It wasn't until after her wedding that she knew that was Hou's child.

Well said! Jing may have many flaws but at least he expressed his love for her time and time again. He doesn't beat around the bush like the other guys. They put themselves in agony and who do they have to blame but themselves. She loves all of them in different ways. Is there a rule that she can only love one? So what if she can't end up with the one she loves most? She has to pick the person that will give her the future that she wants.

I know right. Why don't they go complain to Tong Hua why she wrote the ending that way. lol I enjoyed all of her love lines equally. Life is unfair and they'll always be tragic characters. I feel for XL but what can we do as Tong Hua wrote it that way. People should just enjoy the art as it is.

How the hell does anyone come to the conclusion he wants to set the fire? If he want to kill himself, he could have just use his powers to end his life. Why would he even be in pain and agony just for last hoorah? We get that you don't like certain characters but downplay other characters. They're all fictional characters created by Tong Hua. They were in the blaze already and he use the last of his powers to protect her body.

I admit that they didn't do a good job of showing that scene but all the actors worked hard for a piece of art. It has its flaws but don't bring hate into the forum.

People calling Jing useless is rather insulting to the writer no? Tong Hua created all these fictional characters and they're all unique in their own way. Often times, novel writers like to dramatize some events to make the readers more engage. You have to think that everyone processes grief differently and the mind is not clear in that emotional stage. They were already trapped in that fire so the first thing that came to his mind was to preserve her body. If it wasn't for that, the others wouldn't be able to save her either. If he tried to carry her out then it would have taken more of his spiritual power and who knows if they can even get out.

Jing and XY's love is meant to be different from XL's. It's more quiet and sweet. I like the writers made that kind of contrast between her love rivals. With XL, it's more of burning longing. I don't get why you guys kept saying that they're having an affair. He was forced into the marriage and he's trying to find ways to get out of it without hurting Yi Yang and that was said in ep 27. Up until now, he restraint himself even kissing XY until he can officially break it off. In fact, it was XY who initiated the first kiss and the fireworks kiss.

Obviously you're already being bias even before watching the series. The story is not just about romance but the XY and CX's life journeys. Jing is not the only love interest. Just because XL was made to be a tragic character doesn't mean he is less important. He probably has more screen time than Jing most of the time. Majority of people thinks Deng Wei is doing a great job in his role. If it's the character flaws you have a problem with then blame it on the writer. The cast is doing a great job. They're all perfectly cast.
