Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I don’t really like Jin with Wim. I don’t like how Jin is using his mind reading abilities to find out about Wim his Line account, Win clearly didn’t want Jin to have it. The same way I don’t like that Jin used manipulations and kind of blackmail to get Wim to go with Jin to the movies. I don’t think it’s cute how Jin is overstepping and just ignoring Wim his boundaries. No is no and it should be accepted as no.

For me I saw much more chemistry and a click between Wim and Ozone. Even though that combination will probably never happen because the actor who plays Ozone, Mick is paired with Top.

I agree. The first time we met Yotha and Gun was in episode 9, why is new already pushing Faifa part of the storyline a episode earlier? I feel like they rushed Yotha and Gun their trauma, gave that mother a redemption arc that took almost half the episode, which wasn’t needed because she didn’t deserve it. They made Yotha seem like a bad guy for trying to figure out his trauma. And made Faifa the hero for protecting Gun from his evil bad brother. While it was Faifa who without talking to Yotha about it moved rooms, and had Gun stay with Yotha. And on top of that Faifa left Yotha completely alone while he was “protecting” Gun.

I didn’t really have a problem with the shared parts but now I think about it, it was valuable time they could have used for Yotha and Gun. Or even Warich and Klao because we hardly even saw or know them, like sure they were an established couple but come on, no background? No explanation why they were fighting so much? Didnt AouBoom deserve more? Also SandPo were just a side couple, why do they get to have scenes in the second story? Are we getting more PerthSanta and KlaoWarich in the next few episodes?

Also the time line is weird, from what I remember isnt Pun supposed to be graduating a year earlier then Arc? Or came Pun a year later?

I wonder where the director is who made, my only 12% or UWMA and between us? Because lately he’s has botched up a lot of shows, for example Fourever you, we are, now this one. I fear for Revamp!

Oh come on! You really watched this show till the last episode and you really don’t see any of it?

- He doesn’t monitor Sei, right that’s why he had Sei his phone and picked up on a call not ment for him.
- Try to limit his interactions with others, you clearly weren’t paying attention when Sei met his old friend/schoolmate who said that Fuji acted as a spokesman for Sei, who told Fuji to give him the message to contact him as soon as things were getting better. Fuji never did let Sei know that because it was new news for Sei
- Gets jealous, Fuji was jealous the moment he heard Sei had a colleague he was emailing with. Coming back to the previous statement, it was here that Sei immediately asked if he should stop contacting with said colleague. It was only after Sei said that the colleague had a gf that Fuji relaxed. Also it’s clear that next episode Fuji is extremely jealous.
-Economic power over him, Im pretty sure it’s Fuji his appartement, where he lets Sei stay, as to the agreement of the business deal.
Belittle or criticize, not out worthily no but he definitely makes Sei feel worse for seeking just some support or criticism physical contact.
- Physically harm him, I’ll just say have you watched the preview of the next episode? Or the pinching, squeezing the already injured toe?
- manipulate him, oh you mean the fact that Sei isn’t allowed to do lots of things, no tv, no Line, no smells after Sei has been to the bar, etc. Or is that maybe just his immense control he has over Sei. The fact that Fuji decides what Sei drinks and eats are just a few other examples of his controlling behavior.

How about we talk about how absolutely dependent Sei is of Fuji. Or the major trauma bond that exists between them? The blatant neglect and disregard Fuji has for Sei, or the amount of times Fuji flees because sei is trying to talk to him? You say Sei doesn’t show signs of being abused, that he doesn’t have a low self esteem, did you miss the part where talks to himself about being a monster, being dirty, disgusting? He’s not anxious or fearful, I again point you to next week episode but also just because somebody doesn’t show being anxious or fearful doesn’t mean it isn’t there. To me his eyes are dead, he is numb.

I do wonder about your last statement though, and he doesn’t withhold any other type of affection or caring. Are you still talking about Fuji, because he has been withholding every other affection, he doesnt support Sei, he doesn’t show any affection. There is no physical comfort of contact, no hug, no shoulder to cry on, absolutely nothing.

Yeah agreed! I love Gun but really when your partner says he doesn’t want to see somebody (doesn’t matter if she is his mother) you listen to it and do not force it. That woman created it all herself, so what if she is hurt. Has she for one moment thought about the hurt and trauma she put the family through?

Gun wants to see the best in everybody but sadly such parents do not change, it would have been kinder for Gun to say, I see you aren’t ready yet, or I see you don’t want to see her, let’s to home and visit another time.

Yotha has his dad and he has his mil and fil who are there for him. Who love him unconditionally instead of a mother who only likes one of her kids, yet tears the family apart by picking a lessor favorite. Yotha and Fai don’t need that woman in their lives, they are loved and cherished by other people. And yes I say that out of experience.

Loved everything about this episode until the moment the mother came back into the picture. Like I didn’t like her before what with the information that she shipped Faifa back to his father and brothers because she had a new family. And her not remembering what son was allergic for milk, mind you it was the kid that lived with her for a while. But after her worthless and just shitty explanation she can drop dead for all I care.

It’s such bs that if she had taken Yotha then they would have never gone back to the family, what you would have taken him away from his father and brothers? And what expected Yotha to never ask for his father or brothers - mind you in the novel Yotha and Faifa were identical twins (twin bonds and everything) - you expected him to just forget part of his family?

Not to mention the blatend favoritism she showed, and that’s nothing Yotha can do about but it very well explains why Faifa is such a people pleaser, he probably picked up on that favoritism. I was appalled how she said goodbye to Faifa, with a “you know I love you, right?”. Like thats all you have to say to your son, who has lived with you for some while?

Talking about goodbyes, the fact that she actually only came to say goodbye to the father, tells me everything about her. She didn’t count on her kids being there, nor did she wanted to have her kids there, otherwise she would have asked the dad to have kids all there. It was just by coincidence that all off them were there.

I hated the way she manipulated and guilt tripped Yotha into that hug or even having him say he’s sorry, why are you apologizing Yotha? You have every right to be mad even if your dad is saying things like “forget about it, let’s not talk about it, it’s all in the past”. Like no dad it isn’t all in the past if your kids are still traumatized by it!

I personally would have walked out if I was Yotha, and would have taken Gun and Faifa with me. My heart broke for Faifa, like could you imagine being blatantly told that the only reason you were chosen was because the mother felt that her favorite child wouldn't want to come back and that the only reason she took him was to have a tether to her old family like how horrible would that be for Faifa to hear? You could clearly see he was affected by the news, just because the dad and the mother didnt pick up on it, doesn’t mean it wasn’t there.

I personally hate these storylines only ones who so far have done it right is me Mindy and BOC. You don’t have to accept toxic parents in your life. People hardly ever do a 180 in real life like they do in the GMMTV series, parents do not change. And it’s hardly ever the happily ever after GMMTV tends to make of it. I know it’s a different culture and different values etc, but that doesn’t mean you have to accept everything! For once I would like GMMTV to held those parents responsible and accountable for the crap they pulled on their kids!

I hope to god she stays in England with her happy family and never returns. The title mother she doesn’t deserve. Again what mother can’t even remember which one of her kids has a milk allergy?

Agreed. Or people are saying well we only see Sei point of view and we don’t know Fuji his back story. Why is his backstory important? How about you judge him for his actions and the things he says now, you know in the present! It feels like some people are only able to see and think black and white, it’s like the only way they see abuse if somebody gets physically abused. It’s one of the reasons victims are so little believed when it comes to emotional or mental abuse. I’m shocked by the amount of people who are defending Fuji, who say the thing with the foot was just him trying to get Sei to communicate with him. Or Fuji picking up Sei his phone is normal because maybe Sei was busy. Like what?

Same goes for Kaori, she neglected Hahi for 12 months, and that’s not just sexual based, but with everything, no physical contact, no affection, no support. She might be less abusive, but still abusive.

Agreed! And the amount of people trying to defend him is so crazy. I’ve been having these conversations since the third episode, I think.

Yes agreed, same way I wish Thame had talked about it with Po before he moved his clothes in. I get him being possessive, jealous but they weren’t even in a relationship yet.

Sure get an super vulnerable guy to accept a deal just after his parents died in front of him, because he had absolutely nobody! You think Sei was even emotionally present or understanding what that “business deal” ment in the long term? Do you even read how cruel that sounds? I’ll stay with you forever, you can’t have anybody else. I won’t give you a relationship, date or marriage but I’ll stay with you forever! I don’t care about your wants and needs just only what I need and like. Sei doesn’t agree with that business deal anymore and he tries to communicate that with Fuji but Fuji being scared to loose control over Sei, just flees the room every time Sei brings it up. I call him how I see it, you might not think it’s fair but I think it’s totally fine. If you really think the behavior, Fuji showed in the preview of the next episode, is fine, then I don’t know what to tell you!

Seriously? Did you not get the part where the old schoolmate of Sei saw him and said to him that “back then Fuji was like your spokesman, I asked Fuji to tell you to contact me when things got better”. Sei clearly did not know this. You seriously think the toe thing was because of Fuji wanting Sei to communicate more? The guy has been communicating with Fuji constantly. It’s Fuji who runs away from serious conversations! Also just because he showed concern for his roommate doesn’t mean he is less abusive or controlling. If I heard a crash out of one of the rooms I would have checked also. You conveniently forget the part that came after, the absolute cruel rejection by Fuji. He didn’t just say anything but he physically fled the bathroom, leaving a devastating Sei behind! You forget how possessive and jealous Fuji acted when he heard that Sei was talking with a guy from work, to the point that Sei asked him “do you want me to stop talking with him?”, that is not normal behavior!

Just because you can’t see it and believe that maybe he isn’t that bad, doesn’t mean others don’t see it for what it is!

Probably spite, what was the reason she broke Sei his present for Hagi? The weather bulb. Or she took it with her to show her parents. Or a way for him not to contact her?
