I actually liked it quite a lot. Itâs not perfect for sure, and has itâs downsides but I enjoyed almost every singe episode (although there were some really irritating moments). I liked all the actors, and most of the characters. I think itâs really fun how they got known actors in guest roles each episode, playing themselves in a kind of âmockâ scenario inspired by their real life. I really enjoyed that.
It shows, that at the end of the day being honest is the best. Not rude, not over-sharing or not too pleasing either, but honest with your intentions/reasoning and actions.
juyeong is so kind, still defending her husband in front of her mother and sister and saying that her husband…
I donât think that he necessarily is crazy or bad, but his behavior seems to stem from some deep trauma. However it is creepy, what he does. Anyway, I think that she reacted that way in front of her mother and sister because she was frustrated and sad, and felt attacked because most of what they were saying was actually true (but she really wants to hide and deny it).
I guess it seems that Won Jin (Na Jeongâs husband) actually isnât doing anything sketchy and is a good person. Iâm happy, I hope theyâll be together for the entirety of the drama.
The third lady however⌠Lee Il Ri, she is just delusional sometimes. I get that some of these things she experiences are hard to accept and live through, but the way she deals with that most of the time is just , hm, embarrassing to me.
How fo we know he is asexual? I dont their sexual relationship was always like this
It is written in the summary of the drama âasexual husbandâ so I guess some people, like me, assumed things that his character doesnât fulfil so far. They also could have used the label asexual wrongly, or not entirely correctly to describe his character.
just curious, how is the representation regarding the asexual character here?
Not good, I feel like they used that label as a âcover upâ word to explain him not wanting to have s*x with her/have (âmakeâ) children, at the beginning. He has some kind of fetish related to dolls, I guess, or trauma, but heâs not asexual (as I see it, after 4 episodes), so I donât know why they called him that. Or maybe he is (in addition to everything else) but itâs nonexistent in the story so far, so it feels like theyâre attaching his behavior to the wrong label.
I really like Kang You Seok, he did a good job!
