As if her cheating husband is not enough now her former coworker wants her gone and is making life harder for…
I thought⦠maybe that he was just being kinda stupid, couldnāt make it work with his wife so he had an idea to try it in a different way, maybe get himself āin shapeā and then try with the wife again, but it backfired since she found all those things. But I donāt know, weāll see.
Honestly thereās one thing that I really donāt like so far, I really hoped that theyāre going to have that one guy truly be asexual or something like that, instead of using that term to cover his misbehavior - but after ep4 it doesnāt seem like it. Itād have been interesting, and fresh, I havenāt seen such plot line or character in any kdrama. And he seemed like an okay guy, why make him bad too? You can have problems in marriage without the guy being a cheater, liar and/or a bad person, and there are 3 female leads in this drama, why all 3 of their partners have to be cheaters?? It paints a very black-and-white picture, and every storyline is similar... I know that cheating is quite a big problem in South Korea, and overall, but why is it that every time a main married couple in a kdrama had a crisis itās because of cheating? Itās getting repetitiveā¦
Still I have some hope that the guy wonāt turn out to be the ābadā person and that theyāll share their problems and come to an understanding.
I was hoping that at least one of the FLās wonāt have her husband as the āvillainā of her story, but just us another person that is struggling with something that makes her struggle, but that theyād be able to overcome it somehow at the end of the drama.
Bro, even if heās cheating he should not cave in to the demand of some random coworker that clearly has an agenda against his wife, just because it aligns with what he wanted. I know itās kind of a twisted idea of loyalty but if he chests on her he should at least be fair in a career/work aspect of their lives, after all itās unrelated to the cheating. I hope he doesnāt ācollaborateā with Yena.
The boss is so ridiculous! Her kid was sick, itās not that she was lacking in skill at her job! I thought sheāll be a positive and supportive character but sheās so mean and unfairā¦
Iāll play devils advocate. Sheās overwhelmed, and as the sole parent of her kids, she has to pick and choose…
To be honest, Iād be kinda escaping from a husband like that too š he ignores her needs, consciously or not, heās being very difficult, and unhelpful.
Iāll play devils advocate. Sheās overwhelmed, and as the sole parent of her kids, she has to pick and choose…
Yeah as I said, I understand that sheās overwhelmed, Iād be too. Just in hindsight, itās probably going to get back to her, in a troubling way (thatās why it was a bit frustrating for me to watch, I guess).
Watching episodes one, I emphasize with the Cho Na Jeong and her situation, but I also feel like sheās pampering her kids a bit too much, which does her no good. Even if her son just wanted to see the āstrawberryā on that other ladyās bag, she should have told him that you shouldnāt touch other peopleās things without permission too (and why didnāt she correct him that it was a cherry š like, heās been calling it wrong the whole time) instead of just apologizing for being mad at him earlier. Also her sonās big enough to use the bathroom by himself, if she ends up helping him for too long, itāll be problematic later on.
I know that I am probably being very nitpicky here, and that I havenāt seen many scenes with her and the children yet (watching episode 1), and she is in an emotionally frustrating situation too - canāt think about every little thing all the time, but it stood out to me.
seeing this ratings and comments hurt because the drama was actually well written, from the cases to the stories…
I agree. I liked it so much, seeing the reviews hurt a bit š„² Itās great story-wise, consistent with itās plot, the characters are interesting and aside from a couple of minor cliche moments that I am not a fan of, it was like a breath of fresh air for me, it was healing. (also first time ever that a drama contributed to fixing my sleeping schedule, itās always been the opposite hehe, I have no idea how exactly that worked out though, I know it had a positive influence rather than negative).
But it is very true to itās genre, which is slice of life. Also the portrayal of a lawyerās job is like, the most realistic Iāve seen in a kdrama, but it also makes it way less exciting than how dramatic or action-focused courtroom dramas etc are, which may turn off some people, I guess. As someone who was previously preparing to study law, I just found it somewhat endearing (the realism). So for more fast-paced or even just romance-focused drama fans it might not be a good watch⦠(I mean, there are dramas that are not āyour genreā but there is also a good and bad time to watch them. Sometimes, I return to a drama that I decided to put off because the timing wasnāt good, and I end up enjoying it even though itās not something that Iād normally watch, because I decided to wait for a right time to see it.)
So far the first half has been in line with the webtoon but the director mentioned the second half would deviate…
Oho, interesting. I hope they wonāt change much though, or at least the premise and motivation and consequences or fates the characters face will stay the same (what ends sadly will end sadly, who ends up better off will end up better off, who ended up learning and realizing will end up realizing etc. and that they wonāt try to justify all FLās actions just because sheās the FLā¦). Thank you!
So howās it going? Do they stick to the Webtoon or make up some new storylines? (I am fine with spoilers, I actually want to know what they changed - if they did change something - and how it impacted the story.)
Damn nooo, cast another girl and make no love triangle pleaseee
I hope this drama will have the very basic premise kind of similar to You and Everything Else (as In itāll be focused on the friendship between the two male leads through the years and in relation to music, as theyāre pianists), and that the āFour Handsā in the title (which most likely is about a piano duet - playing a piece āfor four handsā) refers to the two male leads rather than the male and female lead (romance). And if there is a love triangle, itāll be a background plot for their rivalry and not a main one⦠But I donāt know really.
Iām anyway already invested in it, as I really like both actors.
