Oh, I know what you mean! Also I think they already kinda showed how minhye likes him since he saved her, but…
I understand, the family vibes are great and are enough, especially the uncle-niece relationship

Is the drama plot happening in the present (2023/2024)? The he would be about 33 years old.

Subtle romance would be nice seeing as he protected her and she likes him I’d think it’d be cute so long as…
Yeah, but does he like her? I got the feeling that they also subtly showed that he doesn’t really like her romantically

great show, i liked it a lot, im just begging they don’t ruin season 2 with romance. i love the family dynamic…
Oh, I know what you mean! Also I think they already kinda showed how minhye likes him since he saved her, but I would argue that at the same time it was implied that jinman doesn’t like her back. So I am hoping this theory would be reality šŸ˜…

Yeah, so his fiancĆ©e's father is a retired policeman and his father MAY be one of the top dogs in the Korean…
That is very possible

Idk I just meant to say he’s not that young/student age guy and I really like it honestly (if they were together when he was about 23 for example, he could be 33 now which is early thirties, but that’s besides the point)

I’m pretty sure that Yeonho called the father of the woman that died (the man that he talked with at the columbarium)…
He might have survived or it might have been misinformation that supposedly they both died in the crash. The ā€œmove on with your lifeā€ talk could be rather typical of the cultural norms etc, especially if she was his fiancĆ©e and not actually married yet.
I guess it’s also wishful thinking on my part, because the idea of plot being that she was his partner (and probably was pregnant too) but died in that accident is very entertaining to me, I haven’t seen similar storylines in any drama while at the same time having this type of male lead (one that isn’t strong, leader type) that Minki is playing (I’m a huge fan of his character already, he’s painfully awkward sometimes but also very smart, I like this type of characters). I’m getting really engaged in this possible storyline šŸ˜…. I guess everyone tries to prove their theories

if he is some hidden genius or trying to not show his true character like the lead in 'MOVIE : Hit n run squad'....then…
I don’t know, but I have a feeling like they were going for a neurodivergent vibe with him, he’s really intelligent and has a lot of knowledge (the ā€œgeniusā€ trope), he’s not very good in social situations, has patterns and routines he follows and pays attention to sensory things (like not eating specific parts of the meat because of texture). It’s really like basic, and doesn’t have to mean anything, probably the production team just wants him to be quirky. It’s just that this could explain his behaviour, he acts like that. Personally, I didn’t read his recklessness as being overly suicidal or desperate, I think he just wants to get his work done diligently but he doesn’t think about any consequences regarding himself or his safety before getting into those situations.

I really like Minki in this role! I also like that although the ML is new in the police environment etc, he’s not a fresh out-of-university type of character. He seems to be at least in his early thirties (I don’t remember if they mentioned his age at all tho).

I see some people in the comments having doubts.. but for now I’m pretty sure that Yeonho called the father of the woman that died (the man that he talked with at the columbarium) with Korean honorifics one would youse to address their father-in-law. So it’s likely she was his wife or fiancĆ©e (also the sonogram picture next to her urn, hinting at that she was pregnant, probably with Yeonho’s child…).

Yeon-ho is most likely not the big boss's son Cha Yeon-ho who they think he is and I can't wait to see the reaction…

I’m not sure, but at the end of the main trailer there is a shot of another person driving a car (it’s not the female lead, who we already know is a good driver), that person seems to be male and younger than any other guys from the police team. It could turn out that he is also a very good/professional level driver, but doesn’t drive due to trauma etc. However this is a very loose theory build upon my inability to recognize the person from that specific part of the trailer…

I'm very excited for this! Especially the younger cast, really want to see them in this drama! it's kinda sad that they censored the bl parts, as if BLs could only be low budget/lower quality short series... it's pretty troubling and we need more serious approches to this type of stories (although it all also depends on the source material, a lot of the manhwas etc that BLs are based off also are short and/or not so well developed - when it comes to the plot).
But in the grand scheme of things, I don't care much. I just want to see them boys being good friends that help each other lol. And the story overall seems interesting.
So I hope there won't be any more issues with the broadcast etc...

what? how would that be possible? If it's censored, aren't they supposed to be friends (best friends => bromance)?

I feel like there is already a drama like this one. Anyways its seems promising
Yeah, a movie with similar concept but this drama is supposed to be a censored BL and probably has much more additional plot.

What would be good to show is a relapse. It was getting better but suddenly it crumbles, and he has to start again. Because it’s a very real situation.

definitely not for just one episode... and I doubt it will be more unrealistic than Tomorrow, where suicidal people…
I watched Tomorrow, but honestly I totally wasn’t focused on that aspect of the drama and more on the supernatural elements (funny after-life concept), dynamics of the main cast and Yun Jion, and Lee So Hyuk… as far as I remember. So I liked it but wouldn’t watch it again. But I agree that the depiction of dealing with mental health issues wasn’t that good in many cases.
Anyway, it’s not about Tomorrow but about this new drama. It seems like the supernatural elements are less invasive (than a whole concept of haven&hell as corporations) and a little more of a metaphor. It looks quite promising for now, I guess.
