Yeah they BETTER BE REALISTIC.If they absolutely have to write a quick cure, make it a huge TIMEJUMP of "some…
there are quite many dramas, where in description it’s written that a character suffers from depression and then in the actual drama they have like one bad day like…

So yeah, I hope they make it realistic

I hope it won’t be like he’s depressed for the first one or two episodes, and then he’s magically happy for the rest of the series….

The drug test came back positive. So he definitely broke the law regardless of the outcome of the eventual court…
It is a logical decision to remove his parts or some of them from this project (although I have no idea how they decided to do it since his character is the main lead? If it was before shooting the show they could have recasted the role, but now..?), it’s understandable especially from the business side of this situation.

It’s all so fucked up “it must be really hard to be an actor or an actress in South Korea when you’re not literally perfect person”

Seems like he's in pain mentally and physically to the point where he needed to use to feel fake fine. To vilify…
It’s not about how well he knew the law, or who is to be blamed for what happened. From what I've learned drug abuse cases involving celebs are treated very harshly in South Korea (especially you compare them with sexual assault cases involving celebrities). Most of those cases are people abusing drugs used in medicine, or using medication that’s illegal in Korea because it contains certain substances. So those aren’t really things you just take to get high, there was a situation with an actress (I think?) who was accused of “drug abuse” because she took sleeping medication (she had serve anxiety and sleeping problems). I’m not say that all such situations are like this, or are the same but it happens often that those people are just mentally unhealthy and need help. Although it has been changing in recent years, in Korea mental problems are still kind of a taboo topic, so it isn’t really that easy to get help.

Is it like “the meteorite (or whatever) will hit earth in the Korean Peninsula and the impact will destroy the whole world” or “the meteorite will hit the Korean Peninsula and destroy it completely”??Because if it’s the latter, it would be kinda dumb to not try to evacuate at least part of the country’s people or something… I’m asking because I want to know if it’s worth watching, if the plot is logical.

I completely agree with this, especially considering the fact that what He did harmed Him and negatively affected His life/health. Such behavior (even if against the law in this case) is a sign that he needs/he needed help, not collective hatred from the public or some Internet users. And as far as I know, he hasn't forced anyone to do anything like that (in terms of drug abuse), so to say he's a terrible person because he made mistakes in his own life, is quite unjust.

Maybe because they normalised SA and bully to lover is a weird trope. also which popular kbl are you talking about?…
Yeah, I know you didn’t say it’s the actors fault - sorry, I worded that wrongly didn’t mean to imply that you said it. I think it would have been way better if they had enough time to explore the characters more deeply, not only their relationships with others but also with themselves.

This is exactly what I thought. I felt they should have had longer episodes because there were a lot of jumps…
That’s right!

It’s not that I completely disliked him but I’m just not a big fan of the “cute&helpless” kind of guys in BLs, but that’s totally a preference thing

Yeah I think so too, although it was very rushed at the end. I don’t really understand tho, why so many people don’t like Taeyi’s character. If anyone, I honestly liked Seheon’s character the least.

the ending of this show was really rushed and I think half of all the issues one could have with this drama come from that. This series should have had at least 10 episodes, or about 50 minutes per episode instead, to properly explore all the relationships and characters

Honestly, I don’t know anything about the bullying aspect… but I wouldn’t necessarily call what Taeyi did there SA, I mean it certainly wasn’t good but I could understand why they made him like that. I think it would have made more sense in terms of their dynamic, if they didn’t rush the ending so much (after that episode). They went from that, to “you’re the most important person to me right now” without batting an eye, without any reasoning, which made it feel unnecessarily weird (and uncomfortable for the audience). But rather than the actors fault, it’s the director/production team who’s responsible for squeezing this series into 8 episodes… Anyway, Seheon also kissed him out of the blue before that and I don’t see anyone concerned about it so…

Aside from the drama itself, the guy playing Han Taeyi (Jin Hogeun) looks really good!! He’s well built, seems tall and has a very nice side profile. I find his skin tone attractive as well, and I liked how they didn’t “whitewash” him to match the rest of the cast hehe… Also he has quite expressive eyes, I hope he will work hard and become a good actor. I wish him the best in his career! :)

It was okay. I mean, the performance scenes might have felt a little bit cringe, but music itself seemed okay. Besides, as non of the actors actually played those instruments while filming (although I didn’t really know, I have no idea what their talents may be - but I guess it was all acting and they can’t actually play lol), they actually made it look pretty natural. The production team nicely blended in those scenes without showing in detail how they play the instruments (and the hand movements were on point too most of the time), so it didn’t look fake at all.

Thanks. I’m not here for the music either, idk why but it kind of makes me embarrassed to watch when in dramas they make a character good at something but when it’s time to show it on screen it looks really fake or not good at all… especially with music (when it’s not part of the main plot), it happens sometimes. Anyway, thank you for answering!!
