What I find the most unsettling in this drama is the trial by public opinion that seems so omnipresent in Chinese society and that in this age of internet sh*t storm has become even more rampant. Vow, the rating for this drama is going the opposite way than all the recent idol-filled dramas. It has now climbed up from 7.7 to 8.0 😃 whereas many of the idol-filled ones start at 8.6 and then tank due to bad scripts and inadequate acting skills.

I hope so! A villain who manipulates women by pretending to be a nice guy is not that complex in my books. I’ve seen him in Swords of Legends and that was a really complex role where at times you hated the guy and at times you felt sorry for him.
