This drama is so popular in China right nowIt is on the list of ten most popular on going drama I like this kind…
It may not meet any high standards in terms of acting and plot logic, but it has likeable characters and is very entertaining. The currently fashionable dark female assassin trope also gets boring after a while. The FL in this drama has a nice mix of quirky/cute and intelligent woman.
I just clicked on it to watch without reading the description first… Yikes, it’s another one of those daft “I fell into a novel, but nobody knows how or why” stories. We’re let to believe the white guys are all vicious killers, but the moment their arch-enemy lies on the ground before them they all freeze like a pack of village idiots??? What a load of rubbish! Needless to say, it was dropped after 5 min.
That would be sooo nice, there is also a melon saying that Fangs of Fortune will air in July. Let’s add Lost…
Aah, that would be very unhealthy… get some sunshine and fresh air in-between watching the dramas. There will be a time later in the year when there’s nothing decent coming out, so save some of it for later.
Do what exactly? Have a birthday?I guess it’s inevitable for all of us… 😂
Yes, ageism is rampant in the industry, but I don’t think it is the key issue here. It’s not like there aren’t any 40+ actors around in China, they are just in different types of dramas (for the grown-up audience). Jeremy wanted to do different roles, detective dramas, etc. but the agency went as far as sabotaging roles for which he had already been accepted, just so that he could do more of the assembly-line stuff. It really is a miracle how he managed to keep up a smile going through all this.
He should have stayed away from idol dramas long ago, those dramas only help when you are young (even if they…
I don’t think he had much choice in that. It was the agency that kept pushing him into these idol dramas because they made a lot of money with it. Many actors aren’t free to choose the dramas they are cast in.
Well deserved! It shows once again how distorted the rating is here on MDL. Dramas with intelligent plots and great acting get a rather modest rating while assembly-line dramas filled with pretty boys who can’t act get the high scores.
ML has the looks for ancient series but sometimes I feel like he is emotionless but maybe it's just the character.
His acting capabilities are somewhat limited, but he is better in this one than in some of the other dramas that I have seen (and dropped). With all the “medical beauty” that these actors do, it sadly has become the norm that none of them are able to move/use their faces. But it is the viewers who fall into hysterics at the sign of the slightest wrinkle that are to blame for this.
I think wetv should first promote this than release it bcs wetv sometimes release it without promotion,
Yes, launching a decent promotion would be a good start and then a confirmed airing date, but given their track record, I wouldn’t be too surprised if this just fell from the skies one day with zero warning.

Kudos for sticking with something you find boring for 16 episodes.
