I can just answer your post, Yes JL go back to save LWY, basically prevented her from every becoming who she is from episode 1 to episode 29 when she is possesed by JY.

Where he save her was when she was first originally created. So everything that happen from episode 1-29 Never happen.

So only WSG remember this

It open ended if JL remember this (he most likely does) but he choose to live as Ji Ling before he become Dragon deity living as a carefree fox meeting LWY (The same LWY he save) in this new world or could be the same world we cant tell for sure.

That what I'm saying ! I wonder who caught on to this fact !

That why I think their ending in episode 29 was really the best way to resolve this

Yeah, the LJ ending is definitely sentimental or even sad, because before the world changed to the new timeline... He was actually hopeful... he even told WSG that "That he finally figured out who he is" and asked WSG to tell LJ when he is reborn after 1,000 years 😭😭😭

But afterward in episode 29, he asks himself, maybe he figured out who I am... But he was still hopeful

But this kinda confirm that only WSG remember the old timeline

she was possessed by JY that whole episode, until the end where they in a different timeline

In no world can those two really exist without the other. LWY was created specifically to get close to JL, but JL is also alive because LWY existed
