Well honest answer, I think Zang Hai has a bigger buzz than Condor Heroes and the trailers are very well received. Condor Heroes was definitely mired with more controversy especially since dozens of actors playing Guo Jing already exist, and it's hard to change stubborn minds who already picture these characters with faces of older actors. The film received some criticism for its narrative too (I found it a bit chaotic), but other than that it did good, it became the highest grossing wuxia movie of all time, which is a feat because wuxia is considered "outdated". It's just that XZ has loud haters, who are unbearably stupid at the same time, so they correlate Nezha's outstanding success with LoCH when they don't have anything to do with each other in that sense. Because if so, then the entire chinese industry over the years fade in comparison with the 2 billion dollars Nezha earned.

I am personally more excited for Zang Hai, and I think that aligns with the cnetz too. Because it has a dark template, grey non-idealistic characters, court politics, and XZ's comfort zone as well. Plus it's directed by Zheng Xiaolong, who is famous for making one of the best political dramas of all time. It has already 6m reservations as we speak, and it's gaining almost a million everyday, so yes, the buzz in China is pretty high too.

In that case they should participate in creative production more. The XZ focused drama bts vlogs they make also look very cool, very different cinematography from usual average cent productions whose styles feel a bit fatigued.

Only Zang Hai has a solid rumoured release date. Haven't heard of others, most don't have a date yet and it keeps shifting.
