We don’t know yet, but so far he hasn’t harmed anyone. I started to like him though 😅 especially knowing…
Hell yeah! That was extremely satisfying. One thing I'm wondering about is the ring Ha Ram gave Cheong Gi. When Hwacha saved Cheong Gi from possessed Ha Ram, the energy came out of the ring. But the ring was supposedly given to Ha Ram's mother from his father?
My question too! I suspect there will be some plot twists with Hwacha. If I think back to prologue when Ma Wang is being sealed for the first time, didn't Hwacha assist in sealing Ma Wang when the humans failed? The next assumption is that he will drive the painter mad after consuming the energy of their painting, but Hwacha already met Cheong Gi in an earlier episode and "ate" one of her drawings and she was fine... We'll have to wait and see how this mysterious character develops! :D
It’s his first time loving someone. I think he is just trying to do his best for her. Him trying to protect…
Read on if you have watched up to episode 10.... Tbf, Prince Yanmyung's protection is hypocritical though... He is the one who is insisting she continue with the royal painting despite the high probability she will lose her mind after completing it like her father. He is the one who is forcing her to work all day and then all night. Ha Ram would rather sacrifice himself and send her away across the sea. Also, he is responsible for what happened to Ha Ram when he and his brother went and unsealed Ma Wang. Then the prince goes and arrests Ha Ram for a crime that he knows Ha Ram is not personally responsible for, but rather the demon. Really what he is pissed off about is Ha Ram meeting Cheong Gi. His obsession and controlling issues are getting way out of hand. I liked the prince in the beginning but he has definitely lost his way... As for Ha Ram, of course he is in a difficult position, he loves Cheong Gi and wants to be with her, but fears harming her... First he fears her getting harmed because of the dangerous revenge plot he has got himself involved in and he probably also fears that his love for her will melt away his hatred, so there is some reluctance to let go there, and then when he finds out he has the sealed Ma Wang inside of him and knows he has attacked Cheong Gi while possessed, he fears for her wellbeing in his presence. But... they are fated lovers and the gods are literally getting involved and bringing them together. I would say... Trust Samshin's judgement and masterplan will work out in the end! :D
I'm watching this now and it really is very good. One thing I really like is how they end each episode, it's done exceptionally well. This is a very refined drama. Impressed.
Personally, this is one of my favourite dramas. I have rewatched it several times It has a certain vibe that I found enchanting, but I guess it's a love or hate sort of thing. I don't now why some people dislike it. The soundtrack is beautiful in a serene sort of way. I often listen to it.
In the preview for next week's episode, they show Cheong Gi fainting... I wonder what that is all about! Also regarding the Painting Goblin, Hwacha, I wonder whether this character will turn out to be a force for good or another adversary.. I suspect there are some plot twists to come!
It is my favorite scene, too. :D But I could not understand the hairpin's meaning. Is it related to marriage?
Yeah, in historical Korean culture, unmarried women wore a loose plait/braid down their backs, but married women tied their plait up into a bun and pinned it with a binyeo (a large hairpin worn by married women)... So because Min Su and the guard believe Cheong Gi and Ha Ram consummated, they immediately start thinking of getting a binyeo, which would symbolise that she is a married woman... lol
Loved episode 10! 😍 The bedroom scene was so funny, especially when his pants dropped. 🤣 Awwwkwaaard! And then when they're caught and his servants start talking about going to buy Cheong Gi a binyeo!!! 🤣
When Ha Ram’s pants fell and his reaction when Cheon Gi slapped him! 🤣 Thanks to that bedroom scene I could…
No matter how good he is as a prince, he is still spoiled and entitled and thinks he can get anything he wants if he puts the effort in. Cheong Gi is too polite to him... He misunderstands her gratitude and sweet disposition for affection. But I think his admiration for her has turned into obsession due to his jealousy of Ha Ram.
Major spoilers ahead for the sake of making my point!!! While I respect your opinion, I couldn’t disagree more.…
The kite flying scene was a bit boring for me, and I still adore this drama... But just because I've seen so many kite flying scenes before lol. Drama cliche!
