Me too! This one has really got me hooked. But the fact that there are only 16 episodes is sad... I need this to be like one of the mega long c dramas with 70 episodes lol.

I think this is my favourite K drama so far... I usually watch mostly C dramas. I'm curious, 🙂 what is it about it that is boring for you?

What gave you that impression? So far the ML and the second ML are interested in the FL, but the FL only has eyes for the ML. Quite common in Asian dramas for there to be some competition/jealousy, in my experience...!

Can we just take a moment to appreciate Ahn Hyo Seop (Ha Ram) with red eyes? I'm in love, I finally caught the idol fever. Move aside Hong Chung Gi! LOL

Ok, so unlike the hoards, L&R was not one of my favourites for various reasons
1) the silly cutesy FLs🙄
2) the fact that it is more about sects, so it's really more wuxia than xianxia imo
3) it was just a bit immature for my liking
That being said, I rewatched it recently and enjoyed it more the second time because I had lower expectations. 😅

However, Ancient Love Poetry is NOTHING like L&R, it is more like Eternal Love / Love & Destiny / Eternal Love of Dream. It is definitely in my top 5 xianxias, although tbf perhaps nearer 5 than 1. The CGI is fab, and Xu Kai does more of a Dong Hua Dijun / Jiu Chen type of ML. The FL is also strong/independent. If you like the same xianxias as I do, then you might enjoy ALP too. 😄

Tbh, The Untamed was ok but not my favourite, and I haven't seen Word of Honor yet, so I can't make a judgement yet! I was just enjoying this little dialogue here lol.
