I know exactly what you mean. I took months to recover but comfort myself they had a happy ending together in…
Haha same! I have to prepare myself mentally for sad endings, because the Chinese sure know how to make you weep... I felt conflicted about this ending for some time. Although it is frustrating after all they go through that they don't get their happy ending, I do think the ending is beautiful and poetic. That last scene still haunts me.
And why do you need to know? Whats your relationship status? How many dates did you have the last year. Whith…
Yep! It's very light hearted but there's a fair bit of witty banter which makes it quite entertaining. But anyway, it's definitely on topic for this discussion on celebrity/fan culture.

We can all learn a lot about different cultures from watching dramas from other countries. Some aspects of certain cultures may be totally different from our own. A spirit of curiosity is a good thing! I recommend you watch "Falling into your smile" (C drama), it's not the best drama ever but it really covers this issue of fan culture in China (I think SK is the same or similar). If you're interested...! =D
Off topic. Why do Korean actors never reveal their relationship status? So my guess is they aren't allowed to…
Fan culture is probably to blame... Obsessive and controlling over their idols' private lives. Or at least that is very much the case in China... Watch the latest C drama "Falling into your smile" to see what I mean lol.
anyone else find it a struggle keeping up with the gaming animations and which character is who ?
Yeah, I skipped a lot of tyhose scenes. I think it would have been better to do mainly the close up animations but adding the players' voices so you could identify them and connect with the game more (since it's very focused on the actual gaming)!
I don't have problem with her personality and her skirt.. she has a pretty face actually.. I like this drama especially…
I like this show a lot, but the FL is being carried by her good looks and the rest of the cast. This drama just proves Xu Kai can create chemistry with someone even if it isn't reciprocated. Her face is almost always deer in the headlights, her eyes look empty and for someone whose character ID is Smiling, she hardly ever smiles or does anything with her face other than look lost and confused. Great story, great performance from the rest of the cast, witty script, but unfortunately, she really fell flat for me. Nevertheless, I'm still enjoying the show!
Oh and if you watch Eternal Love of Dream, bear in mind that the first arc is a bit slow, but if you bear with it till the second arc, I promise, that's when the tension really starts building and things get interesting...
And Love & Destiny has an older ML... Not a flowerboy. =D Some people don't like this cause they're used to MLs in their early to mid 20s, but Chang Chen was one of my first crushes back when I first watched Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon! And he's still fine af... lol
Have you tried Love & Destiny or Eternal Love of Dream / The Pillow Book? Both have a similar style of ML... These two are my absolute favourite xianxias. But watch a filler first (to cleanse your palette! lol) or you'll end up trying to compare them to your love, Bai Jue...!
