Would it have been better never to find love than to love and lose and live with the pains of regret?
No, because love is an amazing life experience. Breaking up doesn't erase all the beautiful memories and experiences that came before. Experiences that imparted a lot of important life lessons that helped you mature and grow as a person.
If you are afraid of failing, you may never try anything.
Why do you see their former relationship as toxic and abusive? He broke up with her for a stupid reason which…
I definitely see the toxicity but I see it from the perspective of a trauma bond that they both find comfort in (during the relationship). He has certainly made mistakes that have had a big impact on her mental health, and his treatment towards her as an ex was messed up. Especially when he asked her to be sick more often, which was frankly bizarre. Presumably so he could come look after her because he missed her.

You have a point. Seems to me though that the worst of the behaviour mostly happened after they broke up though. Like the whole asking her to be sick more often (so he can come look after her). Dude is messed up for sure.
Any suggestions? Can only invest in so much time. Which is the best drama to watch: This one or The Judge from…
Depends on your taste and mood. If you're in the mood for a mature, realistic love story which is quite mellow and angsty, this is for you. I think this drama will receive awards, but you have to be in the right headspace for this kind of drama.
This is my issue with this drama. Although admittedly I prefer the ML to 2ML, I still don't find either of them…
Well, there's a reason he's 2ML. If they developed him more, he would be the ML lol
However, I also see what you mean. They started this plotline with Hyeri and him, and then it suddenly disappeared. The overall storytelling process is all over the place, very messy.
I also think people may feel more connection to the ML if they had developed his character better from the start.
I don't like main lead even a bit 🥲 sorry I not going to like this show that much But I still get why second…
This is my issue with this drama. Although admittedly I prefer the ML to 2ML, I still don't find either of them that great. The ML is caring and looks after her, but somehow even that doesn't excuse his other actions. The ML and 2ml are really not that likeable imo. I think a big issue is that the ML is miscast and the character is badly written.
I hope she can heal her past trauma and grief about her sister by not getting back to toxic and abusive relationship
Why do you see their former relationship as toxic and abusive? He broke up with her for a stupid reason which broke her heart, sure, and he said some stupid things while they were broken up, but they seemed to be very happy together when they were together in flashbacks?
I have to say, I had higher hopes for this drama, but despite my love of both the lead actors, it's just not that special... I'm not saying it's a bad drama, it's just not exceptional. It had a strong start, but has lost my interest in the last few episodes... The plot is a bit lacking, and the storytelling fails to make the drama really engaging, the support characters are underwhelming, the villain is a cliche...
This year is seriously lacking an exceptional historical drama.
listening to it as we speak lol.
