When you turn 25, you'll see it differently. I used to think men in their 40s were unattractive, but the older…
You're behaving like a 12 year old. If you really were 12, I could understand, but 29? Speaking so disrespectfully to people online is not a flex. Blocked.
It's hard to rate objectively because the recently aired dramas are more fresh in my mind even though dramas from earlier in the year may have been stronger.
No. This never happens. Sorry to slash your hopes, but these scenes were likely censored by the government, so they can't release an uncensored version without breaking the law.
You have rated some dramas highly that I found so bad they were unwatchable. We all have different taste, don't…
I don't think most people are that petty. We just all have different tastes. The rating is made up of spectrum of different perspectives and different ratings. The ones who are that petty are just sad and childish. Better to not give them any attention.
It's annoying but we still got lots of surprising, at least to me, steam.
Totally agree. The sexual tension between these two was really intoxicating. Many great C dramas have wonderful romantic chemistry, but this kind of tension is very unusual.
I don't get it, why is the rating stuck at 8.5. This is easily a 9.0 star drama.
Not really. 8.5 is a very high rating for a drama on MDL. Only a few dramas of all time have gone higher. Also, while this drama is amazing, it has a few flaws that are making it lose a few points here and there. Excessive cuts and censorship, and although I haven't watched the last 3 episodes yet, some viewers complained it was too rushed and some parts could have been padded out more.
this is not that good of a show, but considering mdl ratings are insanely inflated so not surprised

Are you forgetting his alcholism and the fact that he abandoned Mumu in China and wouldn't have even seen her…
He was homeless and drunk while she was growing up. Jin Zhao talks about what they experienced after moving to Thailand not long after MuMu arrives in Thailand, and it is clear from the state of things when Mumu first arrives how bad the father's alcoholism and irresponsibility is... He actually shows 0 interest in her when she gets there.
I think a lot of scenes were cut though. I would have liked to see them explore this relationship a bit more, and to see a confrontation between these two. They really don't even show how Mumu feels about her father and him leaving. This drama really could have benefitted from an extra 5-10 episodes.
It's always amazing how one drama can totally propel someone to the top. Like Cheng Lei after My Journey to You went whoosh and he's had 4 airing dramas in the last 12 months. We will be seeing a lot from He Yu in a year or two when the dramas he films now get aired.
