Have you seen Im Soo Hyang in something else? Imo she's not a very talented actress. She is the weakest link of this great drama. I started this drama knowing that her performance might be underwhelming, but it's not as bad as I saw in e.g. Woori the Virgin. Her performance there was atrocious. In this drama, it's ok.
If you like KJH style of comedy, you will not be disappointed. Did you like Welcome to Waikiki or Mr. Queen? If so, you will enjoy Kokdu as well, because he carries his drama with ease.
I'm here after glory. My standards are" The Glory" level. so I am disappointed
Quite the reverse for me, I was put off by swarms of negative comments and happy to discover it was quite the reverse... But if you don't like it, simple solution: drop it and go rewatch The Glory. Problem solved.
What's wrong with viewers only having Kokdu:Season of deity in their watchlist? Do you think Kokdu is the drama…
If there are that many new accounts only watching Kokdu and if they are only posting negative stuff then potentially they're bots or paid to attack the drama by competitors. That's how childish and immoral Asian dramaland is...
It happens occasionally that armies of "new accounts" swarm the comment section of an airing drama to either sabotage it or to overrate it. Some people are so obsessed with this kind of behaviour they create multiple accounts so they can raise or lower the rating of their target. I came across someone who was even encouraging other members to make new accounts to manipulate the score.
This is KJH acting style. He's a comedian. Not bad execution, you evidently aren't that fond of this style of comedy. Learn the difference between taste and genuinely poor execution, friend.
I cannot understand why this drama is rated so low, it's HILARIOUS. Makes me laugh my head off in every single episode. (Can't help but think that some people are out to sabotage this drama...) Kim Jung Hyun is a frickin comedy legend. Im Soo Hyang is not a talented actress and occasionally her whole stupid cute act is cringeworthy. She could have been replaced by any other actress and I wouldn't miss her. HOWEVER, it's impossible to not have chemistry with such a dynamic actor like KJH, so their interactions are so funny and the whole story flows really well. So, her acting is "good enough".
But this drama, love it. This is an 8.5 K drama, not 7.5. Don't be put off trying this drama if you love comedy and fantasy, especially if you're a fan of KJH.
C drama titles are often random. Long time since I watched it... She is captured as a slave and loses her memory. She becomes a maid before she starts learning martial arts from her master. She forms close bonds with the ML and 2ML.
Bear in mind, if you start this drama that it is good but unfinished and we'll never get a 2nd season.
AND THAT'S MY ISSUE. It's not like Romeo and Juliet irony, there is horribly written not in the book irony that…
Yeah, it's unfortunate. Some dramas are really not worth your time, so one way is to avoid airing dramas and wait till they've aired to see if it's worth it. Usually the rating will tell you (here around 8+, 8.5 is a safer bet though), but now and then it's worth trying a 7.9 drama if the comments are divided in opinion. If you're new to C dramas, I would start by working your way through the many exceptional dramas that have already aired! Would you like some suggestions? What kind of themes do you like?
AND THAT'S MY ISSUE. It's not like Romeo and Juliet irony, there is horribly written not in the book irony that…
Doubt it. Just another crappy drama. Every year there are more crappy C dramas than good ones. It's like wading through mud to find a diamond ring lol.

Yup... Misunderstandings are a great plot tool, but if used excessively or in a stupid way like in this drama, it just ends up worsening the overall standard.

Sad and pathetic isn't it?
