How's this drama so far, and the romance? I'm waiting for this to finish before I start watching. I'm almost finished…
It's a slow burn which some viewers can't stand, so bear that in mind before you start it. It has some really good parts that will keep you glued to your seat however. The romance is still in pre-stages as the FL is not in the position to be herself and is still officially connected to the 2ML, so the ML is also in an awkward position restricted by his position, his friendship with the 2ML and other aspects. I suspect the romantic side of the story will heat up soon.
The Starry Love is delightful, very funny and sweet. Recommended. If you liked Ashes of Love, you'll definitely like Starry Love.
This drama is dragging a bit in a few ways, it's true, but there are episodes that are packed with action. The part with the shaman and the snake was intense!

You've only watched the first few episodes right? The ML in Starry Love is supposed to be like that in order for the next part of the plot to make sense... (Spoiler below)
Spoiler Alert: He takes out all of his emotions in order to cultivate, hence he's like an empty shell. Then he sacrifices himself and his emotions fall from heaven and become their own characters. Then all those personified emotions will rejoin for a much less boring ML.
It seems this show has better music than The Starry Love.
Heh? TSL has a fantastic OST with Sa Dingding, Mao Buyi, Liu Yuning. This drama also has some great OST songs. The drama may be a bit of a flop, but the songs are already a part of my playlist lol.

I don't rate until I've finished a drama. However, I don't think this drama will get high ratings because, well, it's not a very well made drama, but imo it is enjoyable enough to watch providing you lower your standards. I suspect the final score will be between 7.5 and 7.9 by MDL standards, which is usually how mediocre dramas fair.
