Sometimes it's not the drama's fault but our mood or what we've watched before. I have started dramas, disliked them and dropped them and then come back and been like, what was wrong with me? This drama is great. Also the reverse where I've rewatched a drama I loved and didn't like it much the second time lol.

Yep! And the feeding someone liquid even though they're unconscious, but whatever lol, who cares if they choke! 🤣

So you know how Cdramas have a tendency to be very long and be a complete story from start to finish? If you look at older dramas, they're all 60-80 episodes. So, the government decided to put a cap on number of episodes and they changed the rules a few times in confusing ways, sadly this seriously impacted several dramas in the last couple of years which had to drastically cut and in so doing, ruined the flow of the story... So, this year we have started seeing dramas split into part 1 and 2 like The Blue Whisper. Actually, there was no separation between the two parts, it's just a continual story, and they aired part 2 right after part 1. So... it's really just a clever way to get around the stupid and ever changing episode number rules.

Hahaha yes, I've wanted to make a compilation of these tropes for ages. What about immediate sickness following rain / at least one scene where one lead is sick or injured and gets fed medicine which they complain is too bitter! No Cdrama is complete without some complaints about bitter medicines! 🤣

They've started splitting them into parts because the government wanted dramas to have less episodes. I doubt there will be any wrap up at the end of part 1, it will continue fluidly into part 2, it's just superficial to get around the episode cap.

Keep going! Everyone loves this drama. It appeals to different kinds of people and it has a lot of highs and lows.

I haven't seen a single drama that was split into parts that didn't air right after another. I think it's most likely part 2 will air right after part 1. There is some confusion further down because non-VIP viewers are saying they won't get to see part 2 until later, but that is because they get less episodes per week so the airing schedule is slower, not because there is going to be a gap in between part 1 and 2.

I think this drama strikes a great balance with different crowds of viewers. It also has a great balance between light and heavy so you can laugh and cry. I think the best C dramas take you to all the highs and lows.
