On Yumi's Cells Season 2 Jul 24, 2022
Yumi's Cells is the most realistic portrayal of modern dating and psychology of all the K dramas I have watched. K dramas are often ideoligical romances focused on those age old romantic myths like "The One" etc. Yumi's Cells breaks away from these romantic traditions. Even though I was very emotionally attached to Wung, that in itself perhaps says more about everyone's attachment to their first love. I like seeing Yumi's journey of self-discovery in love, life and career. For me, the ending of season 2 was really in tune with the rest of the drama. Lovers come and go, but the relationship you have with yourself is forever.

WL is really amazing and a child actor so he's a bit veteran compare to lusi which only debuted 5 yrs or so. Glad…
Though it's not heavy on physical intimacy, it is definitely a romance.

Title Yumi's Cells Season 2 Spoiler
Don't talk to me, i'm mourning the Season 3 that i'll never have 😭😭😭
If Kim Go Eun wasn't willing to do Season 3, why didn't they wrap up Season 2 with a satisfying ending? I don't get it.

his voice is super attractive and you can tell its him...no voice over
Yes, a really good actor can protray range like that. I also like the subtlety to his acting in this drama, he's dramatically understated somehow. It really adds something to how his character comes across, a stillness. He speaks very purposefully or not at all.
His chemistry with Zhao Lusi too is palpable!

I thought Part 2 was airing right after Part 1? In which case, it would already be next week?
Oh I see what you mean, I thought you meant there was going to be a break between the end of part 1 and part 2!

The gracious empress will love and nurture little Shaoshang. What she needs is this kinda motherly love.
I hope so. CSS deserves some real motherly affection.

That was such a straight-to-the-point marriage proposal done by LBY❤I feel really bad CSS😭, why the hell…
The mother doesn't seem to realise that she was the one acting out of line in front of the Emperor.

the marriage proposal scene where LBY lists all the reason why he fell for CSS has my heart. i loved that part…
The mother is just unbearable. I can't wait for Niao Niao to move out and become her own person free from that spiteful woman.

The mother was starting to grow on me until the palace incident. She really was out of line. Disgraceful to humiliate your daughter like that. Thank you Emperor for not being as biased as CSS's own mother! The sooner she can marry LBY and move out the better. Good riddance!

TBH, I am yet to see a good Youku drama, so I'm kind of reluctant to watch Immortal samsara, even for Yang Zi
I am still obsessed with ALP. Love that drama so much.

You would think so right but nope that's her mom
I think it's that in part, but also I think it's insecurity and guilt over abandoning her daughter at birth. She became momentarily obsessed with correcting her "bad ways". But actually, the mother and daughter are pretty similar in character. Seems in the last couple of episodes she has softened and become more reasonable so that's a relief.

So, they pulled this out. It was re-examined this afternoon and the authorities must've found something sensitive/problematic…
What's wrong with his character? I wish they would just censor the scripts before they filmed the whole bloody drama. Such a waste of everyone's time.

I'm with you on this. DOS started really strong but midway it started to falter. Let's hope this drama just gets better and better.

I didn't like ZLS until this drama. I've watched several of her dramas and found her acting overrated, mediocre and she was a one trick pony with her silly clown act. However, this drama is totally different. Her acting seems authentic, has balance, is sincere. I'm very impressed.
