CSS is like, "well, I accepted A'Yao cause he was the only one who proposed, can't be too picky." Oh how I wished LBY would overhear that and be reassured. lol
Same here. I’m mad. I said a dream of splendor will be the last and here I am😭😭😭
You are! lol What else are you watching right now? I'm going to have to dig into my watchlist and see if there is something I have missed or could rewatch.

It's interesting cause some dramas are better to watch episode per episode, but this one just feels too interrupted. If I wasn't so desperate for the next episode, I'd be sensible and wait till it finishes airing.
Yes and this drama making me wish it was longer and I find it hard to even finish most drama over over 20 usually…
I haven't watched Untouchable Lovers because people were very critical of it and it got a low rating. I used to only watch C dramas but now I watch a lot of K dramas too. K dramas are really good at modern feel good romcoms! C dramas excel at historical/fantasy genres.
What are you watching at the moment? Other than this one, I'm watching Jinxed at First and Yumi's Cells 2. In real need of something else to watch right now!

I actually couldn't stand Zhao Lusi up until this drama. I've seen lots of her dramas but I've always found her an overrated one trick pony, but her acting in this drama is very authentic without coming across as fake or OTT.

This one will be 56 episodes in total. I think Chinese dramas are better at plot arcs, which makes a long drama interesting. I like to see development in a story, longer dramas have that potential. Characters are deeper and can start off from a point and grow a lot. You also get to see far more little details and interactions that make the characters more real.
So funny how the government put a cap on max episodes, so the long dramas just made a Part 1 and Part 2. 🤣 lol Thank goodness we can still get some really good long dramas. Not every drama needs lots of episodes, but some really do to give characters time to grow and for the plot to really take us on a journey.
If I didn't watch S1 before, this would be a quick drop. I honestly don't even remember what happened in this…
Agree. He's sweet and kind, but there's no personality and chemistry like with Woong. Yumi and Woong needed to work on their issues including communication, insecurity and excessive pride. I hope they get their happy ending.
That being said, we very rarely got to see the inside of Babi's head, but as soon as Wung is back, we are back…
Same, I think it is the most realistic portrayal of modern dating and psychology I've seen in a K drama. Their usual spiel is perpetuating the charming but unlikely virgin first love to marriage myth.
I LOVE this drama so much. Finally a high quality historical drama this year really worth praising. Let's hope it stays strong throughout and we don't get the typical C drama mistakes of messing up the second half or the ending. If it keeps going like this, I will be happy to put it on the same shelf as Story of Minglan. I've waited so patiently for another drama like Minglan to come out.
I'm not sure what I'm in the mood for at the moment... I'll think about it! Thanks for the tips!
