I loved loved how they portrayed it in the series too, it’s hilarious when he does that. In the book they rarely jump from Wayu’s perspective to general one, here the change is taking me out for real 🤣 Even though the true thought behind it is no fun

The reveal that he’s the kindest most loving selfless man on earth was the best. With that harsh cold outside 🫠 Both characters made me fall in love with them while reading for many reasons, but yeah Krit’s just incredible. Also kinda true, he’s confusing, he has way too many interesting sides that surprising all lead to him being extremely good, even though initially you’d think not, which is such a fun situation. And yes, usually only toxics are so widely discussed and debated in so many different ways lol Plus Up just mesmerized people back in the days with Ming and left such mark, they can’t forget and hallucinating sometimes and now are confused why its going the complete opposite direction and things are not adding up, why does he do everything for him 🤣

And it’s also seen that writers love them both so much. Because Krit was so upset and angry when he couldn’t find a way to save Wayu from the assault and hospital but here they had mercy on his poor soul and let him buy his way out of that hell and protect Wayu from both without letting him know as usual ❤️🤣

I think what’s ironic (but very sad) in this comparison is that tragically even tho Lu Feng’s dad is dead, he actually won, bc Lu Feng turned as violent as him and made the life of his “loved one” miserable. If he could watch it from hell he’d be cheering. Not everyone is strong enough mentally to grow up in those conditions and not turn out this way.

He’s still watching over him at least, to me personally though what I dislike about this trope is that like Wayu says that it’s kinda offensive that he thought that he is incapable of helping him in any way and isn’t strong enough to share the pain with him. Wayu would rather prefer to be in danger with him, than in safety without him. But then again I understand Krit, because he knew he would say that and thus made this choice. BUT I still think it’s not nice to make a choice for two when you’re in a relationship. Yes, like Wayu says Krit’s choice is more realistic and mature thinking, but Wayu doesn’t care for any realistic (sadly though Krit doesn’t know that, bc Wayu told him that he always dreamt of a normal life hence the misunderstanding). But then again there’s also Singto and would Wayu carried on bc he’s stubborn and something happened to him idk it’s also not right. All in all this situation just sucks ass. Usually when this trope happens I see ways out, but in their circumstances idk what to do really except for maybe completely destroying the hierarchy in the police. But for that you need time. Asking him to drop everything and run away somewhere also not a good dumb option. This way at least one can have a normal peaceful life he claimed he wanted. Better than both being miserable. BUT again it’s not a one person’s choice imo. And I can go in circles like this 🤣 But I hate loving this trope, it’s one of the best emotional damages.

With his authority and abuse of power he could’ve frame Wayu for anything he wanted, put him in jail, erase him or just plainly not let him get any job/university etc. Krit made decision bc he didn’t want Wayu to live such life. Even if they stayed together they do not have authorities of his dad and his connections. For him making people disappear is like breathing. Krit said “I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO TO KEEP HIM SAFE, I’m not willing to watch him suffer for the rest of life just because I decided to selfishly keep him by my side”.

It’s sadly not about making his own choices, this drama is not about your regular wimps who are scared to come out. Krit doesn’t care about any disowning or money, he can make them himself and he also doesn’t care about public humiliation or being a disappointment to his dad or anything of that sorts, just like he shouted from the bridge that he loves Wayu, his dream was to shout it to the world.

Been reading some comments here and it’s super funny to me how it’s the complete opposite of the main point they were trying to send through the book/series. How the wimp and the coward here is the dad. And the funniest how Wayu after finally facing him will say that in his eyes Krit is the strongest man he’s ever met mentally, how he’s so amazed that there is not even one drop of his dad living him, how he’s mesmerised by the fact that Krit in those conditions turned out to be someone who protected him to no end, surprised how with so little love given to him in his whole life, the love he gave him was so huge that he didn’t think anyone could bring him so much happiness. And how if no one in this damn world would appreciate the man who constantly hurts himself just to protect people who he loves, then he’s gonna be the one who will love him the most.

That is because Krit is such a loser for him who blows dust from his baby every day. This clown not only couldn’t make himself sound believable but also added this phrase for no reason. Even a tree would’ve gotten this (no offence, Wayu, we love you the most), sorry, I laughed so hard at him when he added it.
