Yeah she knows he has a fiance, therefore, she knows she was going to bed with this engaged man on Juju. Both she and he believe they had an affair. And are tempted to jump into it again. The tension is that they are tempted and trying to restrain themselves.

oh so no wonder.

I think they need to take a break and reconsider it bc... this marvelous drama has 7,5 rating, few vieweers here and lots of critiques,
and a rather trashy cliches-non-stop but full-of-sexual-tension and TMI scenes rom com has rating 8.4 and so many ppl defending a dumb clutz slimey liar FL and ML who saves her like 10 times per episode, and is #1 globally on Netflix non-English shows. It is very 1950s drama, suuuper sexist. And the USA is already at the Idiocracy, 2006 movie so...
After spending some time in that discussion room, I realized that ppl there are just not very smart. Nothing personal, but I just realized they are not good at logic, and are super good at excuses, and know absolutely nothing about character growth and redemption arc... Shocking but true.... . I started suspecting they are poor and powerless, bc they so defend lying about marital status to get a job and more and more lying to keep the job.

Well I am curious how this drama will continue. The actors we have here are a lot more experienced and creative, so I am curious how they will handle this.

I do not see how DR is starting to realize that lying is a bad idea.

I think that JH saved her life so many times and it is clear he cares for her and understands her plight, so she SHOULD tell him and make some arrangement, without getting involved.

She has to be honest and say - hey I have to pay X million more, I really have to work, I am not married, let me focus on repaying and let's talk after 6 months when this is over...
Then... they negotiate.
For example, if he is not comfortable with her staying there and him pretending not to know for the next 6 months, he can help her get another job.

Bc... this situation is gonna explode sooner or later, she will be busted with her married lie.... esp If she stays as a permanent employee...

Going after someone else's man is a very common pathetic behavior among young women in the USA etc. I have seen it over and over and over again... Probably older women have it too.
And, 2FL knows that FL is not his wife, AND his kid loves her, so sure, she feels free to try. He is very docile ... and actually .... responds.... :) he kissed her back :) so it is easy to keep pouncing on him LOL
Imo 2FL is the only honest, giving, sunny, sane and positive person in this drama.
ML is sometimes, but he is too complex and too confused, and has lots of mean streaks.

I think 2FL has better find someone better than 2ML. He has potential but is the same kind as DR, he lies to get what he wants and needs and always chooses the easy way out. I LOVE seeing him there. He really adds to the story. His redemption arc should be more prominent in the story. But even the FL did not get a redemption arc by ep 8...

I said this: Da Rim is THE SAME AS IN THE BEGINNING, that is the problem. She can start from anywhere but she gotta move on forward. She has NOT

DR *** keepS *** lying although she has many opportunities to fess up. That is the problem.

Growth in the last episodes is waaay to late. The growth has to start before the mid of the drama to accomplish some before the end. To give it a good measure, at about 30% of the drama, we should see her cracking her old shell and starting to transform.
As this drama is going, no growth will happen.

Imo, 2ML is great bc he is exactly like FL, he clings to what he wants and then lies and cheats to get it and what he wants is safety and comfort, easy way. Very immature and a perfect match for FL. Birds of the same feather flock together. I really appreciate him being there. It is amazing that FL supporters do not see 2ML as sort of her male counterpart.

I am bothered by ML, he is a bull in a mating season, only hormones, no brains, and he is overly controlling, smart, rich, handsome guy, who acts as a sugar daddy and a knight in shining armor saving FL like 10 times per episode... since she is such a clutz...

so far, this is such a sexist stereotype drama where a rather dumb, insecure, clumzy loser woman NEEDS a man who will take care of her bc otherwise she cannot function in this world. She would have been literally DEAD..... That sexist message is the theme of too many kdramas (and maybe other asian dramas, I am not sure) and very often globally. It is rotten brainwashing.

The drama keeps FL the same old same old for at least 8 out of 14 episodes, with zero growth. That message is so toxic. It advertises the idea that people - esp women - never grow and change out o their loser selves.

to be useful and interesting, the drama needs to show ML and FL equally contributing in their own ways, being independent but synergistic, and openly and honestly sharing with each other. Proper communication is the key, and it happens only from proper inner state, which requires inner work. Like... Missing Piece Meets the Big O youtube video :)

SW also has a back story LOL how come you dont honor his back story....? He is a single dad... it is a heavy story too... and he is clearly very damaged... He is relentlessly clinging to someone who was always safe and kind to him and he is afraid he is gonna lose her, so JUST LIKE DARIM, HE IS LYING AND CHEATING TO GET WHAT HE WANTS AND NEEDS. Dont you think SW needs a nice woman to share with? And just like DR who wants a forbidden job, he wants a forbidden woman. They are both the same kind. Going the easy way, by lying, and then keep lying and lying anda lying. .

It is absolutely FASCINATING how you cling to Da Rim's past. Right now, she got a job and a smart guy who cares. And she keeps lying and lying and lying.... So why are you are soooo stuck on her past to defend her total lack of progress on her inner self TODAY.

The only reason I think ppl are so sensitive about protecting DR is bc ppl have the same kind of life and want to protect their own lying and avoiding by blaming it on some distant past

and that is a lifelong process that requires effort, and never stops, no matter how "good and caring" person you are

I personally think this is a rather lousy drama bc it misses the point, and it misses the fun. I do not feel hate.

Being accused of hate is one thing that is interesting here this audience sees everything as either LOVE or HATE so inherently, by design, there is absolutely NO ROOM FOR GROWTH bc AS SOON AS YOU EXPOSE SOMETHING TO BE IMPROVED, IT IS CONSIDERED "HATE"....

In other words, this audience is like a cult, either you stick 100% with the agenda or you are a hateful enemy.

So far this drama is an excellent research project. I learned so much from meeting so many ppl who defend toxicity and enjoy their brain turned off. Some are smart and some are not. But everyone is a master of lying and "yes but" strategies to defend themselves. It is helping me to understand something important.

When we turn the brain off with something delusional and toxic, some kind of escape from OURSELVES, it means we are overwhelmed and also... we lost hope.

That is one of the main takes for me from here. Meeting so many people who lost hope and who truly believe that the life Da Rim lives is acceptable, normal, realistic.... and that a way to deal with it all is to just turn the brain off by something toxic.

I will keep thinking about it.

FYI Masterful stories are fun and super deep and allow space for everyone to see the story at their own level. This drama is not that. My Roomate is a Gumiho is.

Yes Da Rim has IQ, she did good work at her BeBe job. DaRim also has social intelligence, she was able to even help ML with business on JeJu.
