Another thing that I realized bc of Our Universe and Sirene's Kiss is that I have no desire to watch overly thin actors and visible plastic surgery. Perhaps their management companies ask them to lose weight and "get pretty" but I would like that to stop.

I am posting this comment here with the sole intent that we the audience ask to stop the cruelty to the actors.
It is unhealthy and makes me sad and creeped out to see a starving thin actor and/or facial muscles so stiff and unable to express.

By watching someone like that, I feel I am supporting more of that, and I consider it cruelty to the actors.

I am sure we can make kdramas without torturing actors

One issue is plastic surgery and botox, so ppl cannot move their facial muscles,i.e. cannot act; also hiring pretty models - who cannot act; and just producing as many dramas as possible cookie cutter, so just hire ANYONE who looks pretty and who cares for acting

Well she loved that man until he became a bad guy.. Now she gave him a job so he has no reason to be a criminal anymore... and they still love each other... but maybe.. . they will archive it..

The only connection is IMF crisis, the dramas are totally different, this one is a lot higher quality and a lot more fun, and has a tight fun script, never drags and the story is a lot more meaningful and complex

Why not? We fall in love with people and we have no control over who we fall in love with, but we have control what we do with our feelings. She DATED that guy for like what ... 5 years? 9 years? I forgot. SHE LOVED HIM and he suddenly betrayed her. She has lingering feelings. One is love, and one is pain and anger :)

What is wrong with her lingering feelings from the past? She loved him yet was strong enough to say NO to him, to express her disappointment by his betrayal and unethical character, and her unwillingness to tolerate that and be with him. She is a strong woman. She rejected a man she loved bc he was inadequate.

She dumped him and is not going back, despite her love for him. She realized she fell in love with a rat and she bailed out. I THINK THAT IS COMMENDABLE AND MAKES HER A VERY STRONG CHARACTER.

TO drop the drama bc of that would be very ... unfair and disrespectful and unrealistic. People love who they love and she loved that man very deeply. She canNOT forget him overnight.

We are now waiting for Mr Right to come along and totally delete the memory of the ex :)

yeah those school violence and fighting dramas need just a few episodes bc they really do not have too much plot, and seeing mostly fights for 16 episodes would be really boring :)
I didnt see Unwritten Seoul. I dropped, it was too boring to me.

I think My Dearest Nemesis was good for 12 ep, Potato Lab, etc such SIMPLE dramas about ML, FL and just a couple of side characters and a simple plot and a simple idea to work out - he needs to get accepted for his anime and rock, she needs to accept being fired by the boss she crushes on and he needs to accept people as human beings... SIMPLE SUPER SIMPLE PLOT AND CHARACTERS... the less episodes, the fluffier and simpler the plot is...
Made in Korea was like that - ok we see Korean CIA making meth and 8 episodes of that is enough

Undercover Miss Hong is working through ML-FL relationship and past, FL-SML entanglement, the roommates, Nora, Bok Hee, Kang Family, Song and her henchman, IMF issues, corporate politics, women at work, , ... there are so many characters and SO MANY STORIES and progression from A to Z, so many messages to convey ... and 16 eps is perfect

I think this drama can have many seasons :) as we follow Miss Hong in her career, solving one case after another...
