How do you know they are straight ? they get annoyed probably because that question shouldn’t be asked and everyone…
Ok, Twitter is 100% more reliable than YouTube - these days if a Senator with a Blue Check says something than its very likely coming from that Senator or there staff for example. If Musk has his way "all the bots will go away" and it will be only real, literally verified, people that pay monthly for the privilege of being more verifiable than YouTube.
I could post a video with proof about how the world is flat and made of cheese to YouTube rn if I wanted - I sure hope your not approaching content on a site like YouTube, but specifically YouTube, thinking its all verified people saying verifiable shit
I think the acting is fantastic - from everyone, even the really side characters like Anan's goons were great. This cast is capable of conveying so much emotion without dialogue. The main 4 - Singto, Fluke, Utt and Fiat were incredible - I never wondered what they were feeling, I could feel it. The Actors that played Dan's parents were also great - I definitely felt a lot of emotion during their scenes... I feel I could write a bit about every cast member. I was impressed with everyone.
Its just great seeing Singto and Fluke onscreen again - in perhaps their best roles to date, this is just real treat - really made my Halloween
No I'm sorry is that teacher (the woman) having sex with her student ?cheating and student teacher relationship.…
Well, I haven't seen this yet, so...
That said, I know cheating sucks and Teachers shouldn't abuse their position of authority - its not OK, neither are OK. Both still happen tho - thats life.
I understand not watching something specifically made about either topic but, both being part of life, they are bound to come up within other stories. Thats also life.
Just wondering...was this series popular/hit when it aired?
I believe it was one of the most watched BLs in Thailand the year it aired - like it was very, very popular. Internationally it was either well received or not, not much in between.
I'm updating my watchlist and saw I never rated this show - I'll remedy that.
I actually quite enjoyed Between Us. I thought Boun/Prem's acting leveled up a bit and I really enjoyed the two together. This was a more subtle slow burn type story - it had to be. This is where much of the discourse stems from.
The story was already told in the background of Until We Meet Again - we knew already that the leads didn't get together and tell everyone during the events of UWMA. We knew a lot of stuff going into this. People that were expecting something different weren't being very realistic.
I liked the tie-ins to UWMA - it was great seeing Ohm/Fluke again. Got me all nostalgic. I thought the overall production was very well done.
OK, I can't speak for all gay men but I don't give a damn about women "fetishizing" gay relationships - I don't…
Well, I'm sorry that some gay men have given you the impression that they have a say in what you like or not. You are definitely not a pervert just for liking BL content while also being a women - that's ridiculous.
Ep 8 imo: Messy messy messy.I'd already suspended my disbelief of the unrealistic amount of gay people popping…
I don't know if this show requires me to suspend disbelief about the number of gay people. Like with like. This is a group of mostly openly gay or bisexual people - of course they would attract others like them to their social circle.
There is something I'd really like an input on from everyone. It's been troubling me for a while and since this…
OK, I can't speak for all gay men but I don't give a damn about women "fetishizing" gay relationships - I don't think that is whats going on with most women but even for the ones that actually are - if that is what floats their boat than so be it. This topic doesn't concern me at all. Women say this to women a lot...
If anything I'm grateful to the fetishizing women - this genre exists bc of them.
Do you consider heartstopper a bl or a 'gay themed show'? This is infact a bl thou, saying gay themed show sounds…
Yeah, I should prolly stop using it. I've referred to myself as a Fudanshi on many occasions, but this is old school BL terminology and it doesn't need to stay.
Your right tho - BL is the categorized term for the genre now and it will continue to include shows like Only Friends

I didn't even realize it until I was searching for more BL content back when I discovered the genre in 2018 - my only real exposure to the term beforehand was Southpark and the episode they did about NAMBLA - The North American Man Boy Love Association.
Unfortunately that is actually a thing and I never want to be even remotely associated with that.

Haha, we've pissed off a fair amount of the Fujoshis just by showing up to the party.
I think Only Friends is a fantastic example of actual gay content being enjoyed by most everyone that liked traditional BL despite it being 100% a gay show. There is almost nothing about it that fits the BL formula.
Truthfully, the standard BL story is a bit played out at this point.

I thought it was fantastic - just terribly good
I assumed they were doing this timeline in season 1, the Commander Yai timeline in Season 2 and hopefully a S3 or a movie/special for the present.

I feel this deserves a higher rating tbh

I've seen you write books complaining about people complaining about you.
Some people have a lot of thoughts they want to express and words tend to be how that works on MDL.

Years ago, before the genre attained this level of popularity, I was concerned my searches were putting me on lists.
I'm a bit over sensitive to masculine bs
I say I'm queer and then when they ask for any further information I make them feel like they are asking me my favorite sexual position.
Queer means you don't have to explain to Grandma what any of the letters means. It means we don't have to be defined by what sex we have.
Plus, the letters divide us - all of us can be queer tho
