As for the development, given they only had 8 episodes and so much to cover, plus the main plot not focusing on their friendship, I think the drama did a good job. All of them stood by each other when it mattered most and in the bigger picture, that was enough for me. :)
The friendships between the fantastic 4 did it for me ig 😁
A story of survival with four musketeers and a big bad wolf in the shadows!
This season goes way beyond brains versus brawn , it was personal, way more messier and more human.
It dives into personal, messy, and deeply human struggles. Si-eun’s journey shifts from outsmarting bullies to surviving his own grief, unraveling quietly as he battles his inner demons.
The “Fantastic Four” brought the much-needed comfort, offering simple moments of genuine friendship that make everything feel less bleak.
The new characters were solid, especially Park Hu-min, Seo Jun-tae, and Ko Hyeon-tak, who brought depth to their roles. While the antagonists lacked depth, the season still hit hard. Despite a few flaws, it was just as impactful as the first.

I hope you enjoy this!
Finally, a Chinese BL that doesn’t end in tragedy and where we don't have to rely on scrutinizing micro-expressions to hint at romance. It’s right there, clear and unapologetic and I am here for it.
This drama had that charming indie vibe, short episodes, yes, but the emotional impact is massive. It proves that we don’t need a massive budget or big name studios to tell a good story. In fact, this one outshines a lot of mainstream BLs by a mile.
From the acting to the cinematography to the storytelling, everything feels intentional and intimate. There was heart in every frame and not once did it feel like it was holding back. I came in with cautious expectations, but I walked away genuinely impressed and honestly, a little moved.

And same ! Their communication is what is keeping me here.
Though the preview of the next ep -_-
It is exhausting tbh, she is making both KHD and No Gijun visibly uncomfortable with her constant theatrics and unnecessary confrontations ! And not to forget she has something of her own going on too with the SML! It's just baffling at times.
Also, surprisingly, I haven’t really warmed up to the second leads. Their chemistry feels a bit over the top and silly for my taste.
On the other hand, I genuinely like the main leads. Their clear communication and subtle, mature chemistry are refreshing, and they are the reason I’m sticking with the drama.
Interestingly, I also find the third couple more enjoyable than the second. They’re cute and chaotic, but in a grounded, way not childish, even though they’re the youngest.
That said, I did expect a bit more overall.
And honestly I was shocked when Robert did what he did. I know it wasn't a dating show or anything, but CCY was so heartbroken. 🥺 And it was so unexpected :o
I think it would be like that going forward too. Cutesy and this ( not sure how to categorise this) 🤣
I hope the rest of the episode does come back to what led to this... Lmao
The first episode had a cute little start, nothing extraordinary, but the vibes were sweet and the boys were adorable.
Not expecting anything deep or groundbreaking, but I’m always here for a well-done cliché.
Excited for the new episodes!
He resulted to violance instead of admission. >>>> yes, we were offered glimpses but I wished they scratched that surface a bit more because that could have added a little more depth to the story when they were adult. We got to see everyone's POV except his.
But the series was a good watch though overall :)) messy but realistic!
Honestly, I don’t think either of them is really at fault!
Looking at it from Akin’s perspective, HE SUFFERED. He doesn’t even remember what happened or how it happened, and he didn’t get a moment to even process it. Then having to go to work the very next day and face that guy? That’s just…
From Jin’s side, yeah, his reaction in the car felt harsh but that’s coming from me as a viewer knowing what actually happened to Akin. Jin doesn’t. From his point of view, it looked like Akin ignored him, was with another guy and had hickeys which Akin tried to hide to make it more suspicious. It’s totally normal to jump to conclusions and feel hurt. Though, I did expect him to at least ask Akin more questions or give him a real chance to explain. Like… something. So Akin could actually address the whole mess.
In the end, I don’t think there’s a clear "wrong" here. They both feel hurt, and rightfully so but if we zoom out, my poor baby Akin definitely went through something way more violating.
I hope you enjoy whenever you watch it :))
But to be fair, CY straight up admitting he is into Jiyu and is actually in a relationship with her probably shattered whatever last crumb of hope Heesu was clinging to. I am at least hoping that acceptance is unlocked for Heesu so this whole moving on doens't just feel like a ruse or a distraction and we get a last episode realisation. NOOOO.
But can we talk about jealous Heesu!!?? Lmao FINALLY. I've been waiting to see him stew a little before Seungwon drops the confession bomb and this episode really delivered. Watching him go from confused to " wait... why am I annoyed? " was hilarious and funny.
And I loved this whole conservation about the dead star. *_* I hope we see more of them together with real realisations before the actual confession.
