And about the kiss, imo it felt more like Minjun's dream because he hasn't moved on from the situation.
This was honestly a visual serve. The genz vibe, the cinematography, the production - all of it looked amazing. From the first episode, you could tell it had style and knew exactly what it was doing when it came to aesthetics.
But once we got past the pretty packaging, the actual heart of the drama kind of fell flat. The main characters were clearly supposed to capture the chaos and confusion of being a teenager and while that was relatable with realism, watching them spiral again and again without learning anything got lowkey frustrating. Yes, teenagers make mistakes but these guys just kept doing the same things even when they knew better. It started feeling less like drama and more like emotional déjà vu.
The messiness was definitely part of the appeal at first, like wow, these kids were really out here self-destructing in real time but after a while, it was more exhausting. There was no real growth, so the characters stopped making any progress and just started looping.
The finale tried to wrap things up and give us a little closure, but it kind of rushed through the emotions that actually needed time to land. It was like they wanted to tie it all up with a neat little bow, but forgot to finish the actual story underneath.
Overall, I understand the appeal of the show with its coming of age theme and cute aesthetics but for me, it ended up feeling like more of a visual feast that ultimately did not have much to say.
P.S. - I really tried to like this more, but couldn't! *Sigh*
And I agree with this being a hard watch ! But I think it's so well done.
I am happy that you liked this !
And spicy... Hmmm...You get proper kisses and few bed scenes here and there which I haven't seen less in jdrama 😅

The drama is heart wrenching at time. And it made me cry. Ugly cry.
But there are few factors which could have been better and I rightly agree about the love life of children. I felt too much time was spent on it instead of importance addressing issues , mainly favouritism.
I am going they address in vol3 but that didn't happens and it sort of disappointed me. But it's a very very good drama overall.
Thank you for reading the review ♥️
Gun and Yotha was what I came for , but Faifa and Junior stole the show for me too.
I did find the last ep a bit too chaotic though 😅
Light, fluffy and undercooked. A recipe for mild entertainment!
The drama started off with a fun, chaotic energy that blended "city girl to village life" vibes in an entertaining way. However, that initial charm quickly fizzled out and the middle episodes turned into a snoozefest. The pacing became uneven and there was little to no character development.
It’s the kind of show you can keep up with casually while it’s airing, fun in moments but not exactly gripping. The vibes are there and there’s some charm in the chaos, but it definitely struggles with pacing and feels like it’s just throwing tropes at the wall to see what sticks.

That's a lovely way to again sum up this show! :))
I hope I pick it up soon.
Good review Kat! ♥️
As for me, my favorite arc was volume 2. It struck the perfect balance between the past and the present. You see Ae sun and Gwan Sik struggling and doing their best, then there's this contrast with their children.
I gave the same rating but in my heart it's close to 9 but not exactly 9 😂
Definitely one of the drama for a good cry !
But overall I did enjoy it. Also liked how the title made sense to the whole drama :))
A very nice review Kate ! ♥️
✅ The chemistry is absolutely chemistry-ing! I really enjoyed their silly banter. We have our tsundere black cat MC and the golden retriever ML! I think for me, this is the strongest point of the drama so far!
✅ This adaptation so far is quite close to the anime. While I didn’t dislike the anime, there were a few elements that didn’t sit well with me. After watching episode 4, I am being cautiously optimistic that they don't pick those. 🤡
⚠️ Now while Jin's character is playful and goofy, he isn't without flaws if I remove the romantic context! The guy has serious boundary issues, like seriously, it’s almost comical. 😂 In real life, I’d probably call him out, but in the context of the drama here, we can clearly see he is coming from a good place and genuinely cares about Akin. Still, I’m really hoping they dial it down a bit in future episodes because there are moments where his behavior is straight-up creepy in the real world, no sugar-coating it. 😂
Episode 4 definitely improved on this front, though, since we see Akin starting to come around, but still…
⚠️ The pace feels a bit fast to me because few things are happening off-camera. It's very similar to the original, though, so it doesn’t bother me too much. But sometimes, I just want to scream at Jin and Akin to calm down and talk things through! 😂
❌ I feel like I've committed a crime by watching this while it's still airing because the wait is pure torture.
But to be very honest, despite all the VISIBLE FLAWS which I can clearly spot from miles away without a neon sign 🤣, I am absolutely hooked and sat!
✅ - Yes
⚠️ - Not 100% on board
❌ - No. Nope. Nada
But I would really suggest to wait for few more episodes to air, because the wait for each ep is killing me 🙈
I am glad you enjoyed the drama! It was one of those imperfect watches that landed right on spot ! 🫶🏻
