General Thoughts till episode 4 :

✅ The chemistry is absolutely chemistry-ing! I really enjoyed their silly banter. We have our tsundere black cat MC and the golden retriever ML! I think for me, this is the strongest point of the drama so far!

✅ This adaptation so far is quite close to the anime. While I didn’t dislike the anime, there were a few elements that didn’t sit well with me. After watching episode 4, I am being cautiously optimistic that they don't pick those. 🤡

⚠️ Now while Jin's character is playful and goofy, he isn't without flaws if I remove the romantic context! The guy has serious boundary issues, like seriously, it’s almost comical. 😂 In real life, I’d probably call him out, but in the context of the drama here, we can clearly see he is coming from a good place and genuinely cares about Akin. Still, I’m really hoping they dial it down a bit in future episodes because there are moments where his behavior is straight-up creepy in the real world, no sugar-coating it. 😂

Episode 4 definitely improved on this front, though, since we see Akin starting to come around, but still…

⚠️ The pace feels a bit fast to me because few things are happening off-camera. It's very similar to the original, though, so it doesn’t bother me too much. But sometimes, I just want to scream at Jin and Akin to calm down and talk things through! 😂

❌ I feel like I've committed a crime by watching this while it's still airing because the wait is pure torture.

But to be very honest, despite all the VISIBLE FLAWS which I can clearly spot from miles away without a neon sign 🤣, I am absolutely hooked and sat!

Hmmm Top form has mixed feelings for me. Like I know the plot is nothing new or profound , but the chemistry is really fire. REALLY FIRE. 🔥🔥

But I would really suggest to wait for few more episodes to air, because the wait for each ep is killing me 🙈

Honestly I did enjoy it and had the same experience as you , framing theories as to is it parallel universe, what is happening/ why is happening, my expectations each week was high and then nothing ...NOTHING ...

Like you said it's a not a bad series with decent chemistry, but I would rather market it as uni BL instead of multiverse because there isn't any 🤡

Ohhh this was on my PTW because of Kimura Keito. Manga adaptions are always a bit over the top and I think I have made my peace with that. Idt it bother me that much now 😅

Yes , like I tried really hard to no go into details because I wanted to speak alot 🤣 Like this is one of those dramas where each character has something to offer to the table - whether good or bad 😅

Ohhh ending felt abit rushed to me too... Plus the confession too. But considering it was 8 eps I was kinda prepared.

But it's was one of those dramas where no one was perfect and somehow it was a hit ! ^.^

This was one of those dramas where SKJ was excellent but the script failed him ! I hope he chooses a good script because the nan can act so well🙈

Yeah like more and more tropes were introduced and none were actually justified or closed properly!

I gave it the same rating and honestly feel the same way about the male lead. He was portrayed as a person who is closed off but has a lot of depth, yet he remained unchanged until the end. The growth of his character didn't translate on screen.

I wasn't convinced by the romance either.

The third couple were like a magician's act, they would appear in a few episodes and disappear for another few>>> Let's just assume this drama had 2 couples because THIS.

I stopped using Wattpad, Wattpad stories started coming to me. 🤡
This felt like one of those ! 😂
Leaving logic at bay and at convenience, still I was very entertained!

This drama definitely had those classic Wattpad vibes, you know, where anything can happen and logic is more of a suggestion than a rule.
The plot felt like it was just stringing along a series of random events, all tied together by the ML's performance. It was almost like the drama existed solely to showcase his acting skills and without him, the whole thing would have been a lot harder to sit through.

But I would still recommend it for the entertainment factor and if you are not looking for gripping plot , or KSJ oppa can be considered as plot 😁

No I absolutely agree! While I do agree her parents love towards the daughter, but the favouritism got me.

And they did try to do damage control in vol 4 , but I felt it was too late for the series and their son too. Like the conversation is prison!

But again, this was a good series despite its flaws. Makes you want to think alot of things 😅
