It is one of those slice of life dramas but it is emotionally heavy at times. Honestly, I don't think I would have also picked this for a binge. While airing it is easy to catch up ^.^

This drama wasn’t about a passionate love story that swept you off your feet, rather it was about the journey of two people who loved each other through thick and thin, in every phase of their lives. It was realistic, capturing the hardships and complexities of their relationship as they navigated various challenges. We have seen this several times in dramaland, but the portrayal here felt sincere and deep. Each time they faced hardship or joy, I felt like I was right there with them, crying when they cried, laughing when they laughed.

But when life hands a tangerine, it may not be clear what to do with it right away. Over time, though ,the bitterness can be peeled back, revealing the sweetness inside, turning something challenging into something worthwhile. It’s about making the best of what life gives, even if it’s not what was wanted or expected. The drama did a good job at that. (At least what I inferred)

I watched it while airing but I still stand by it. This was a difficult watch and it almost cured my NDD too 😂

The logical flaws for me was too much to ignore. The weak war setting , the FL's occupation... And the trauma that follows.

Honestly I was more disappointed because I was very excited for this and felt cheated with this somehow lazy writing.

But that's my opinion. I do see my other friends enjoying it. 😅

Cute and easy, but won’t stick with you!

This is a good pick for a lighthearted romcom that is a perfect one-time watch. It offers all your classic elements you would expect - from charming moments to some funny and silly twists with an overall feel-good vibe from start to finish. While it doesn’t break new ground in terms of plot, it does just enough to make you smile and feel good by the end.

I will still recommend this though! It's fun xD

Entertaining and big on laughs but ultimately falls short of emotional payoff and feels shallow!

The series had me on quite the rollercoaster. It started off feeling a bit cringey with its over-the-top comedy, but as it went on I started to appreciate the depth it brought to its characters. The middle episodes really stood out for me with some strong emotional moments and character development especially Heng's. I could see the growth in the characters overall and their struggles, which made me invested in their journeys.

But honestly, the last two episodes completely threw me off. Instead of wrapping things up with the deep, meaningful conversations the drama had been building towards, it just fell into all these tired, unnecessary tropes. The characters barely talked things out or solved their issues in any satisfying way. It just felt like the show took a huge step backwards, totally undoing all the emotional depth and character development it had built up before. It was like they just threw everything out the window for the shallow plot twists which was really disappointing after all the character growth we had witnessed.

And I absolutely agree with " to not hate them, but to root for them to be together." I ain't a fan of cheating trope either but here I couldn't help but root for them!
