The younger more Openminded Streamer Generations in korea prefer to watch it on Netflix, so it's popular there.
Finally Knetz are actually outraged over Criminal Violent Men (being drunk is no excuse), and not over silly things like accidentally posting a spoiler photo or other such non-offences that they usually turn into a Scandal. 😅
Well this writers works are all ALL OVER THE PLACE. Other screenwriters usually specialize in 1-2 genres and then occasionally might try some new genre, but this guy just writes in all genres, Detective, Youth, Comedy, Romcom, Melodrama-romance... 😮💨
It would be hard to know what to expect from this type of writer, and not specializing makes his writing quite Hit and Miss.....Which he stuck to Crime-Com genre....

This drama should've ended at ep 12. Yet another drama where they unnecessarly just dragged the story at the end with filler to fit the 16 ep format. Went from 9.5 to 8.5 because of last few eps. 😅
One of those dramas that would've benefitted from being 12 eps, rather than 16. The last few eps felt unfullfilling and a bit boring, but still a good ending. Still enjoyed this, but could've easily been a 9.0 -9.5, if it wasn't for unnecessarly draggy last filler eps, jumped down into 8.0-8.5 instead.
Is this one of those Romcoms/Meloroms where they mix in some Mystery/Thriller/Serial killer style plot ??
Good Casting is a Thriller-Comedy, so I assume this will be similar..... I found it a but boring though, not boring enough to drop, it's On Hold rather. Hopefully this Writer-PD team has improved....
Edit: Oh this writer has definitely improved, I see they wrote Miss Night And Day too. That was one of the rare 2024 dramas worth completing, even though the last few eps felt a bit unfullfilling and lack of chemistry between leads (but that's not writer's fault but rather the Actors +PD). Still it had a good ending, they simply should've made it 2-4 eps shorter. It seems this is one of the rare Humble K writers who actually cares to try to improve and not repeat bad parts of their previous scripts. Good Casting was decent for a 1st ever script/Rookie writer script, and they've already improved. It seems their writing niche is Thriller-Romcoms, I'll always welcome more k writers writing that type of mixed genre dramas, especially one showing clear improvement.
I don't necessarly always like serious Thriller Kdramas (Thriller works much better in movies imo), unless it's ThrillerCom, they tend to be good at those, but for some reason it's really fun watching the LEADS in films/series Kidnap people Lol (not so much fun when they're the one's being kindnapped & you worry about their safety😅 But reversed is somehow enjoyable to me)
Be prepared for FL to get alot of haters, MDListers dislike Nerdy Scientist FLs (Look at them calling FL weird/annoying in When The Stars Gossip whenever she had her nerdy Scientist moments) 😅🤦♀️

vs "Eww what is this. Why are they making sh**t like this. Could ruin the shows's image" between colleagues.
Let's hope the man isn't lying about what he talked about in DMs, too many famous men are secrectly bad/creepy, especially in this cast, for all we know he was sharing that creepy pic betwen the 2 Creepy SquidGame Rapist colleagues....
