Literary in my country, it's against the law to lock up a person into a room when they threaten you or to tie them up until cops show up, what are you supposed to do then, just stand there all vulnerable while waiting for help?!?!, insanity.....

Although this will be exciting zombie of course as main focus, but IF it has romance I hope for no love triangle, she should just have them BOTH 😆 Also JJH is also a great actress, add in her to the poly mix. 😆
Starting from Welcome Samdarli, to Will Love In Spring, to Love Next Door, to another cdrama whose name I forgot to Love Your Enemy to, to My Youth (the Song Joonki & Chun Woo Hee drama) to now Motel California; this RETURN TO HOMETOWN & REUNITE with first love is now OVERPLAYED as of late sigh.
Don't get me wrong, I actually liked each of the dramas aired I mentioned despite of it because of good pairings & writing even were some of the best dramas this year, BUT still, can we not keep repeating THE SAME DAMN PLOT IN EVERY ROMANCE DRAMA in 2024-2025?!?! 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Still going to watch this for great cast + hotel setting + interior designer FL which are all exciting parts, but still, would be more exciting if they didn't keep recycling THE SAME PLOT DEVICE IN 90% OF DRAMAS AS OF LATE WTF! 🤦♀️🤦♀️

People need to realize that there's a clear difference between judging a promotion vs judging a drama. Just because we critisize the poster doesn't mean we pre-hate the drama before it airs lol
For me it's rather the opposite, I like the plot and the casting and want the drama to do well, and illogical people who a*sskiss bad promo stand in the way of that. This is why we can't have nice things. People settle for average or even bad...
Also I'm literary in the marketing industry lol. Some of these people are just uneducated with no grasp on things, that's why they have no eye for even obviously bad posters lol... Only excusable situation for the marketing choices here is IF they do it on purpose, promote a show through bad poster & changed bad synopsis from previous on purpose, so they do hate baiting people for attention lol
It's a good drama in terms of pairing + its message, but overall found it pretty average to be honest. In the end ended up giving this a 8/10.
Watched for the super-cute pairing, but maybe I'm just not into the whole Lingering feeling for ex/misunderstandings and lack of communication type romances. It nails the message of communication needed in relationship, but that doesn't exactly make for an interesting drama, at least not for me. Also I prefer the buildup of romance more focused on, here it was just 1 ep and them looking back to their relationship rest of the eps, unfullfing to watch. I'll just rewatch Will Love In Spring, which I consider the romance drama of the year, WCAL wasn't it, as much as I loved the pairing and fell for Kentaro.
