True it's hard. I only managed to get a temporary part-time gig as library assistant for 1 year in one, most younger people I know didn't even manage that. Drama made it too easy looking to get a librarian job. 😅 The FL is mostly too young to be a full-time librian, most librians are 50+ and have a lot of schooling, a part time library assistant job would've been more realistic considering her age. 😅 Most full-on librarians have it as a SECOND career, where they first go into more easily accesible jobs like Teacher, Youth worker or IT, and then pivot into the career as a second career. She was too young to be so succeful already. 😅😅 FL must've been BFFs already with someone inside, or librarian jobs are much easier to get in korea or what?!?! 😅🤦♀️
Anyone looking to become a libraian after seeing the drama....DO NOT AS FIRST CAREER NOPE. A SECONDARY CAREER SWITCH ONLY, Not recommend as a first career or keep a more easily to get backup career. 😅 It's almost as hard as getting an arts career lol. Actually commercial arts careers like Graphic Designer or Marketer or much more accessible nowadays than librarian career.😅 This drama is a Librarian fantasy of a somewhat young person getting to be a librarian lol.
Similar to how that american show Gilmore Gilrs is a fantasy on a FL getting much work experience in hotel & getting own hotel with no Univeristy degree 💀😅😅🤦♀️

I've worked at a library before, I'd say the librarian role in One Spring Night is pretty realistic, though I think irl it's more customer facing than what is shown, and not at all 99% of time spent in the back office like they do in the drama. 😅 I rarely see FL interact with customers there, except ML And his son lol. 🤦♀️

I think only 2 of those songs are somewhat memorable, one of the reaons is one of them is in english. And even those two are quite forgettable too. The OST is mostly just in the background of the drama, I don't recall much of the OST at all lol.
Recently watched Winter Sonata, One Spring Night and Welcome To Samdalri, all 3 have HIGHLY MEMORABLE OSTs that makes one recall the drama, get immersed and chills & get flashbacks of them. Listen to those OSTs and tell me MMH's OST is still good lol. 😅

I love the tone of the drama. Not just drama + comedy, but full on Melodrama + Comedy lol, episode 10 was especially hilarious yet super dramatic lol. All those Melodrama slaps too lol 🤭

ML is a single father according to the latest article here on MDL. So beside the depression, eating dirsoders and sleep disorders, I suppose they'll also show a slightly controversial romance (controversial in korean society) of FL dating the ML.
Depression, eating disorder and insomnia shown in a kdrama will be interesting. Despite the fantastical elements/superpowers, I hope they show these irl problems realistically and accurately.
This drama with its flashback athmosphere and OST made me nostalgic for the 80s & my childhood, yet I wasn't even born yet then, and my childhood was later 😅

That Cho Jong Pil singer whose songs they made new versions of for the dramas OST is a good singer indeed. No wonder the makers of this drama are his fans and named ML after him, made OST after him and even mentioned him more than once in the drama.
Especially that "Short Hair" track has a very peculiar and memorable sound to it, gets stuck in your head. 😂

Perfect from de-stressing when irl gets annoying or to watch after just finished a very high-intensity thriller or sad melodrama with tragic ending.
