Not normally into Married Couple ships (where is the fun will they/won't they?), but LTNS changed my mind a bit , plus this PD + screenwriter combo of talents will make it work! π
same screenwriter as " The producer " and "My love from the stars " so he is in good hands .... oh same Screenwriter…
Ooh nice! Also it has the talented Vincenzo PDnim also!
DreamTeam, will make this drama work! π
(I dropped My Love From The Star though, but nothing to do w bad writing, just got a severe 2ndl Lead symdrome with Park Hae Jin lol. This screenwriter is solid .)
Nah it's on par with the trend of making dramas 12 eps rather than 16, happens pretty frequently now, which imo…
Oh I know what you mean by rushed ending, sometomes dramas are guilty of that indeed. π They really leave Everything TO THE LAST FEW MINUTES rather than more naturally progressing ending.
So far this screenwriter hasn't let me down with his endings, both TFP1 and Vincenzo ended well, especially Vincenzo went in such a satifactory thrillingly dark ending that was perfect π.
Hopefully this screenwriter doesn't start now with those infamously rushed endings lol, and continues his good work. π€π€
korea will freeze over before that'll ever happen on show or movie lmao
It is.
Also I just remembered that Ji Chang Wook and Kang Ha Neul had played a gay pairing in a theatre play/musical.
It was too funny too cause because it was a play/musical they had to act out the gay couole over and over so Kang Ha Neul said that it was. abit akward/weird because he'd never kissed another actor/actress that many times in his life lmao π π Just remembering this old intervieww suddenly, too funny π

I mean LTNS did feature a lesbian couple, but it wasn't aired in a public channel. It already happened lmao no need for hell to freeze overπ , just needs to be streamer-exclusive drama for it to happen π
Also there was a lesbian couple in that SF8 scifi short kserial....Kmovies have featured gay and lesbian couples for over a decade at least....Kim Nam Gil, Kim Jae Wook have done a gay role in a movie like over 10 years ago, Kim Taeri a lesb role more recently in a kmovie.
Korea is improving, or at least allowing LGBT+ now in non tv-channel dramas and not just in movies anymore.
Edit: Isn't this a Netflix drama?? ...in that case never say never. π (....i think it won't happen though, but for different reason, they prob don't want to let down the people watching this as a Kim Woobin-Suzy reunion)
of course the show is great I don't undestand how it is not trending on MDL
First eps got hated on and rated only 7 π€¦π»ββοΈ
MDL is filled with impatent teengirls that only give high rating to shallow romcoms with popular casts or thrillers with very young casts only, even when the drama is bad/averageπ€¦π»ββοΈ
Right this show definitely depends on how good the casting is. And I agree s2 was best so far. Gwang Hee's harem…
They should take care to cast more better matches, so people don't end up having no good matches in the island, that's why they looked boring π More introvert-appreciating girls (perhaps fellow introverts) would've been better. Most women this season were so shallow too, can't blame the guys for not being keen to date them. π
It's better than most of these types of life dramas. I like how the romance was fundamental and the centrepiece…
I love the healing genre, there are actually FUN healing dramas, and not the boring slice of life type.
Fun-PsychologicalHealing dramas like Kill Me Heal Me, Mad For Each Other, Find Me In Your Memory, Dinner Mate, Devilish Joy, One Day Off, Love Shuffle, Death's Game, Be Melodramatic actually have some spice to them.
Haven't started it yet but Doctor Slump seems like has some spice and fun and not too much slice of life. Also currently enjoying Hyde, Jekyll, Me; that drama got way too much hate just because it's not as good as the Full 10 drama Kill Me Heal Me and similar plot aired just after KMHM, it's still a 9 imo. Also had it been a slice of life drama it would've been highly praised lmao π I think it's too dramatic/melorom for most kdrama watchers who overtly worship slice of life.
The Upcoming dramas Midnight Photo Studio and Although I'm Not A Hero, seem really interesting,π with PsychologicalHealing blended with Supernatural/Superhero and Romance genres, and not boring slice of life. I will never understand people's love of Life genre, to me it's like eating bland food with 0 spices ,not even a little bit of salt in it. π

I know right!!! I also generally really really really dislike slice of life and find it hopelessly boringπ , (possibly my most hated genre lmao), often wondering how tf dramas like My Liberation Notes, Our Blues, Just Between Lovers, Reply series, Hospital Playlist etc. got such high ratings and praise while I find them dreadfully dry and dull beyond imagination. π
This one is actually NOT boring to my great surprise (except a little maybe the first 3 eps when story is being set up, which is like 90% of dramas anyway π ) and enjoyable, and not just because I like the leads, Somehow the writing really works here. π
They made the smalltown characters really charming too like in Behind Your Touch, and not annoying. The only problem I have here is why are the characters screaming and drinking so much lol.π
I don't know why people complain about Noona romance, she might be a few years older irl, but they look about the same age and he gives mature for his age vibes so. π€·π»ββοΈ

Will definitely check it out then! She is reliable at making good dramas.
The ML is still a priest after all.π ...Unless he isn't?π€ But season 2 is still called The Fiery PRIEST 2 so π

Also the scifi short kserial SF8 had a really cute GL couple in one of the specials.
I hope this will have too.

I hope it's just a refernce, and this drama distinguishes itself more from SITR.

This is making me nostalgic for Secret Garden, hope this is good too.
Especially with easier watching of 30 min eps.
Love that Lomon got a romantic lead role too. π
Edit: Wait this has thriller tag π ...Still it seems more like fluffy Romcom Thriller with a slight thriller only.
