So return of the ex next episode. This show doesn't do cliche so I'm excited about how Ji Yun and Ha Ram take him on, especially Ha Ram the Menace 😛

Much as I want to box Cher's ears, I am grateful to the makers for not giving us a 3-year separation/leap. That would have made me too mad to want Gun and Cher to end up together.

Cher's insecurities are understandable, but the way he always takes decisions for both of them without even discussing them with Gun is very problematic. Gun has a big heart to take it in his stride, but this has got to stop here. This is one issue I had with To My Star 2 too - you don't dump your loving and super-understanding partner coz you are insecure and don't believe in discussing anything with him.

Anyway, I did enjoy the domesticity in the beginning and Gun's heartbroken face gave me all the feels. Now let's get back to the fluff next episode!

This show is so unpredictable! I didn't see THAT coming 🥵

So YiJun was dumped and he decided to lock up his heart. Going on platonic dates and then ghosting them was his way to build up his self-esteem? Well, he definitely was messed up, and I guess he needed a menace like HaRam to shake him up. That physical attraction didn't come out of nowhere - HaRam knew what he was doing when he kept being touchy-feely with YiJun from the beginning, the sly pest 😏

It's understandable that YiJun wants to keep it casual and play it cool, but his heart eyes tell a difference story. The guy is in deep 😍 I am really curious about how they take it from here. Episode 4 would have been the last episode in most Bls but here it is the halfway point. I look forward to be pleasantly surprised some more 🤞🏻

I Am Not A Robot

I'm going to ignore the Tian-Thoop storyline. This is a show I watch only for Gun and Cher's sweetness. Fortunately, amidst all the unpleasantness, there were so many sweet moments between them of supporting each other, reassuring each other, and finally making love ❤️

Was pleasantly surprised that Cher decided not to be the noble idiot anymore even after Gun's mother asked him to step back. Gun has always been there when he needed support, now it's his turn to stand by him. The consummation of their relationship seemed as natural as all their interactions - the way they kept talking while removing their clothes shows a comfort rarely seen among BL couples. It didn't even seem like a NC scene, and that's a compliment 😍

That's how it is in Asia. Elders are not addressed by their names even in personal relationships. I'm not even from that part of Asia (I'm Indian) and I find it quite natural.

I have seen many Kdramas where a writer is addressed as Jagga Nim (Jagga means writer and Nim is added after designations for additional respect). So you have Hyung (for an older male) and Hyung Nim if you want to address him more respectfully. Similarly Noona was older female and Noonim for more respect. You must have heard Coach Nim and such too.

Gosh! I cackled through both the episodes. Don't think I have laughed so much in a BL ever!

I was immediately put off by the way Jun treated his sweet blind date. So when HaRam showed him the mirror in the meeting I clapped. And then HaRam showed that it's just the beginning of his audacity! The way he became a pest and went after Jun with single minded focus had me rolling on my bed holding my tummy 😂

Is this borderline harassment? Yes. But that's where it helps when it's two boys instead of a girl and a boy. Also HaRam is Jun's junior, so it's not like he is taking advantage of his position. Or maybe I'm excusing disturbing behavior because I'm enjoying it so much 🙈

So this was a lovely beginning 👌🏻 A teeny complaint I have is that the one playing HaRam is a weak actor and comes across as blank at times. But thankfully the writing is so strong that it helps cover his lack of acting skills. MDL says he is only 20 so I guess he can be given a pass. Was surprised to see Jun's actor is 28. He looks younger than HaRam!

Her whole personality and career is about her being a love guru. When she got dumped it shook her roots. For a person who advised others on their relationships, it was a huge shock that her own relationship was so shallow and she couldn't read the warning signs. For her it's not just a heartbreak but a reset of her whole life as she has lived till now.

How can a show with so many gorgeous faces be so boring? It was a struggle watching episode 2 last week and episode 3 today. I give up. This one is dropped.

This was bad. Not in the 'so bad it's good' kind of way. Just plain bad. Weak writing, weak acting, weak everything.....neither serious nor campy. It's about actors who are not allowed to date anyone and are creepily controlled by a woman who perpetually looks intensely constipated. I was exhausted by the time the episode ended. Dropped.

Yes, totally. She is much younger than him, not just in age but also in life experience. Then there's the power imbalance. It's natural that she would develop a crush on a good looking and sophisticated boss who was kind enough to create a vacancy for her when she was desperate. But it's something that will also die naturally if he doesn't take advantage of it. I hope he doesn't and they remain platonic.

Maybe the makers thought they could use his popularity from 2gether. But it was a really bad call.

The problem with this show is that Longshi is perfect as Day and Frank is terrible as Itt. Frank looks bad, acts bad, and kisses bad. I really can't enjoy their make out sessions. On top of that we are told that everyone lusts for Itt and no one is interested in Day?! I would have dropped this long ago if it wasn't for Day in tank tops and shorty shorts.

Who is this new joker in glasses? The acting calibre of the cast is already pretty low but this actor is even worse than Frank.

It's official - ForceBook are the best huggers in BL town. I can watch them hug each other in different moods the whole day 🥰

While it is frustrating to see Cher play the noble idiot again and again, I can understand his delimma. It is easy to fake your confidence and say that your lover's social status doesn't matter to you, but it does matter a lot. Whenever Gun and Cher are alone together, they seem to be in a world of their own and Cher forgets who Gun is. But when Cher leaves Gun's circle of influence, real life seeps in and he sees them for what they are - a poor university student and a rich businessman.

Cher is young and in his first relationship, and that too with a man way out of his league. So he keeps drifting away and Gun keeps reeling him back in. I'm not complaining coz I love watching them hug and make up again and again ❤️

Yes, he is an idol but he's no actor.

I'm just not feeling SeungJun. Maybe there has been an overdose of characters battling anxiety/trauma after The Eight Sense and Bed Friend. I do like JaeHyun and the other two guys, but the show hasn't wowed me yet and we are already 25 per cent done. Am dropping this for now, will pick it up after it's finished if the reviews are good.
