This was so immersive and grown up! Like, these characters are actual adults! Like, real people! Can't believe a KBL gave us this.

The looks JiHyun and JaeWon share have strong physical attraction written all over them. The way JiHyun pursues JaeWon by enrolling in the surf club. The way JaeWon understands that but is trying to be the responsible senior and not take advantage of the younger, vulnerable boy from a small town. I guess there is a 4-5 year age gap here with JH being a freshman and JW being the final year student who has also completed the 2 year military service.

It's a very interesting dynamic - JH is bold enough to get into the surf club to be close to JW, but he also tells JW clearly that he is afraid of this new big city (and the big city wolves?). Will JW be able to stop himself from being a wolf, especially when JH looks so willing to be seduced by him?

The actors are perfect, not just the leads but the supporting cast too. They look like the college students they are meant to be. I am so completely hooked already! Praying this one doesn't follow the usual KBL practice of starting strongly and finishing with a whimper.

Now that's how you do a time skip! That was such a satisfying conclusion. Gosh, I felt KiTae's anxiety when Wan didn't answer his phone. He was still so traumatized by Wan's abandonment. Thank you Sunny for making Wan see the light (don't we love a supportive queen!). And Wan assured KiTae in the best way possible 😍❤

I'm so grateful for the rare KBLs that don't falter at the finishing line. Hope to see these actors do well in their careers, especially Lee Seung Gyu who really knows his stuff! 🥰

Yes, it's such a false note. Even if you don't want to show a kiss, at least shown them just sleeping together on the bed (even fully clothed is fine). To have them sitting on the bed chatting till morning seemed like a joke.

I am feeling a bit disoriented after Episodes 6 and 7. On one hand, I love the conclusion and am happy with the place we leave our boys at.

On the other hand, I wish the first time-leap had been 2 months instead of 2 years. To think these two lonely, lost boys were living with additional heartbreak for 2 years - especially since they both knew where the other lived 😭

The second leap was like a soothing balm (though I am having trouble believing these two hot blooded guys are still coy about kissing each other after 2 years of dating, and actually spent the night just talking 😐). High school love rarely lasts long, but theirs has endured and we leave them with the assurance that they will always be each other's shoulder to cry (and rely) on 🤗

This show makes my heart ache. Been a long time since a show did that.

I'm glad the last two episodes are coming out together tomorrow. After that preview, a week's wait for the resolution would have been torture.

That Park-Tin make out dream was so awkward that I was glad when it was over. I love their pure feelings for each other and I'll be fine if they don't do anything more than kiss after this.

But Pao-Kana.......RAWR!! The way they went from bros having a drink together to horny dudes eating each other up 🥵🥵🥵 I mean, these two super nice boys next door suddenly started making out like the mafia 🙈🙈🙈

I dropped Love Syndrome after the first episode. Got to go pick that up. I will tolerate Frank's wig if I can watch Long Lee in all his shirtless glory putting those luscious lips to good use! 🤩

I agree with a lot of what you wrote. Uea was slowly coming out of his shell but King going on that blind date made him put up his walls again.

King did screw up but he too has to keep his family happy. Also, he is getting nothing from Uea emotionally even now. He as good as told Uea last episode that he won't go on the blind date if Uea doesn't want him to but Uea just brushed it off. He is giving King absolutely no opening to develop a relationship other than FWB. I understand that Uea has been too hurt in the past to open his heart easily but it also makes him a very difficult person to love.

Yes, we don't need to see a kiss from 5 different angles, we just need to be able to feel the emotion behind it.

We got cat, we got open mouthed kisses, we got tongue, we even got butt cleavage....so why am I feeling let down? People wonder why the relatively tame lovemaking scene of Cutie Pie is so popular. It's because the camera stays on Lian and Kuea long enough for us to feel their emotions and doesn't keep cutting away every two seconds.

And why does this show give us a little high and then throw us down so mercilessly? First King dashing Uea's plans after giving him hope, and then the boss creep pawing at him....Uea can't catch a break, can he? And the preview shows the creep ganging up with Uea's mother and the evil witch pushing him towards that pervert! 🤬 I'm suddenly very close to dropping this show 🤷🏻‍♀️

I love the dynamics between Gun and Cher. No matter how extra Cher behaves, Gun takes it in his stride and has fun with it instead of just tolerating it. I loved how he calmly sipped his wine while Cher danced the place down in his drunken frenzy 😸

A lot of walls came down in this episode on both sides. They are growing closer very organically. Look forward to more flirting and some jealous shenanigans next week!

The main leads are just not working for me. They look too stiff for me to believe that they can be attracted to each other. They just seem like two very straight guys playacting at being into men. I don't feel the same with the second leads - they look very much like they are fighting their attraction for each other.

The show isn't doing anything wrong (except the songs being too intrusive, or maybe I feel that coz they are mostly in English so I understand them), but the lack of chemistry between the leads is pulling it down for me. And the second leads are getting very little screentime.

Now this is the Korean style heart-fluttering romance I was waiting for KBLs to live up to! Oh, be still my beating heart! 💓💗

The way Ki Tae flirts with Wan is so manly! He is like, "You are my man and I am respectfully waiting for you to accept this fact" 😍 That rolling around on the floor is the Korean way of showing the consummation of a relationship and I'm glad there was no 'shy virgin' awkwardness between two guys who have been in love with each other for years. And Ki Tae's possessiveness is a pleasure to watch 🥰 He's such a good actor 👌🏻

So angst coming up next week with Wan getting a better job offer. I believe it won't really be a big deal. They love each other too much to not be able to work around these teething problems of a new relationship. This show has been top tier till now, I just hope they don't mess up the ending like All The Liquors 🤞🏻

The last two episodes could have been better. The intensity that was building up between Ji-Yu and Ki-Hoon kind of fizzled out, and not only because of the dead fish kisses. That Ji-Yu's presence helped Ki-Hoon get over his nerves, and their mutual realization of feelings deeper than just attraction wasn't well explained. That they spent the night together first and then confessed to each other casually at the party made their relationship look less serious than it is.

All in all, a low-key end to a low-key show. It was cute and romantic, and little Ji-Yu had my heart ❤️ Just realized that he turned 20 recently, so must have been 19 when filming this. He is a talent to look out for!

I want to wrap up Tae Hyun in cotton wool and keep him in a safe place. To think he gave the same two toffees to Da Yeol that his mother gave to him on their first meeting 🥺 If that's not a love confession, I don't know what is!

The energy of youth, the optimism of teenage came across so strongly today. You are suicidal and then you see concern in your crush's eyes - and life is rosy again! That he told Da Yeol about his childhood is a huge deal and I think Da Yeal understood that. He too has moved away from his obsession with archery coz he has another precious thing in his life now. Their feelings are so delicate and they are both such vulnerable kids, I can't help but feel like a concerned mother. Please be good to them Show! 🙏🏻
