Am I the only one who finds Win somewhat predatory? Yes, there was clear consent in the first episode but that consent came from a boy who was extremely turned on. Win saw that, turned him on some more, and asked him to follow him into his room. He knew a teenage boy with raging hormones will follow him. Another thing that made me uncomfortable is that Win is a senior and kind of a guardian/caretaker to a 1st year student in their club, especially when they are out for team camp.
The same thing happened in today's episode too. Win kissed Team by the pool and turned him on before asking him to follow him. This is something Team also remarked upon in the locker room - that Win is an expert at seduction. Team knows he is being seduced and this time he drew his boundaries and told Win that he is out the moment he is bored.
The chemistry between Win and Team is explosive for sure. In fact the only time the show keeps me engaged is when they are in the frame together. I don't want to see more of DeanPharm, Manaow and her guy are boring, so are Win's brother and his guy. The friendship between Pharm, Team and Manaow doesn't have the same spark as UWMA. And I have no idea why we have to put up with A, B, and C. But whenever Win and Team are together, it's magic (even though Win's actions make me uncomfortable). I am loving the NC scenes here! Also the way they look at each other is 🥵
The feelings begin next week. Both these guys have high emotional walls and it will be interesting to see how they help each other to knock them down.
How funny is it that this show reminds me of Gone With The Wind? Scarlett had no redeeming qualities other than the fact that Rhett loved her for some unexplainable reason. As Sher has no redeeming qualities other than the fact that Fahlan loves him for God knows what reason. At least Scarlett was gorgeous. Seriously, I really want Fahlan to slap Sher back just once. And then dump him.
Prince redeemed himself a bit today. I didn't notice earlier how deep Gear's voice is! The way his face lit up when Prince kissed him was so cute 🥰
Poor Pai has fallen for Ping now and going to get his heart broken again. Why couldn't Charles be interested in him instead of Pink? I hope he gets his own guy by the end. He has somehow become my favorite person in this show and I want a happy ending for him.
Kudos to Namwan for reading the writing on the wall and withdrawing gracefully. Tap would have taken longer to understand his own feelings if she hadn't hinted it to him. It seems from the preview that he is going to confess his feelings, and thank God for that coz if he doesn't Ping would just grow old being Tap's best friend.

There was nothing to enjoy in the last two episodes. They were tragedy porn. The writers decided that they have Earth so it is their duty to make him cry his hardest.

That time could have been given to new relationship dynamic of Eiw and Cake. Being friends and being boyfriends are two different things but we never got to see how they navigated this part of their relationship.
I really don't get why they had to make the last 2 episodes about the family tragedy with about 5 minutes of fluff each in episodes 13 & 14?
After a long wait of 10 episodes, they finally confessed their feelings and got together, and then immediately proceeded into the tragedy. I don't watch BLs to see mothers dying and siblings grieving. A romance is supposed to be romantic and if there is angst it needs to be between the leads, not their families.
Sorry for the rant but I hate it when BLs promise romance and give us PSA or family situations completely separate from the main romance. LITA had sexual assault which is my least favorite thing to watch, but I was okay with it coz it led to the couple's relationship becoming stronger. In MO12, Eiw and Cake didn't need this tragedy to become a stronger couple, they already were.
Whew! The first half of today's episode was difficult to sit through. But the payoff was so satisfying. Pai cradling Sky in his arms and telling him that he will cry in his place......sigh!
Both Fort and Peat outdid themselves today. I really couldn't take my eyes off Pai today...his big eyes, his smiles, his broad shoulders, his hands patting and stroking Sky's head perpetually.....🥰 Or maybe I am just infatuated with this gentle giant who took a broken boy under his wing and made him whole again. This is the romance I look for in my BLs 🤗
It's a bittersweet goodbye to another series that gave me a lot of joy. I loved the beginning of this show but then my interest dipped after Phayu-Rain had their first NC (I still can't figure out why they stopped working for me once they consummated their relationship). But I had no such problems with the Pai-Sky track, loved it from beginning to end. I am glad there is a special episode to look forward to. And if Mame makes another show on Pai's Uncle (I believe he has his own book), then maybe we will get to see these 4 again together ❤️

Nhai didn't want sex earlier coz he wasn't sure of having a man as his lover. However, once he decided to make their relationship official he hasn't shown any ickyness to sex. The reason he objected in the car was that he didn't want to do it without a lubricant and I am guessing that's what Ai pulled out. And the fact that they went to sleep fully clothed and woke up naked obviously means that they woke up in the night and did the deed.
As for the mother thing, it was Nhai who said that his mother passed away when he was a child. Ai just said that he didn't have a mother and looked troubled saying it - it was clear to me that he wasn't telling the whole truth. The mother can be seen in the trailer and she is the one who will bring in the drama/angst so there must be a reason she hasn't been introduced till now. In fact, we got to know only in this episode that Ai has a sister who he remembers fondly but is awkward around. I'm guessing she is his half sister from his mother's side.
Drunk Ai is super cute 🥰 And philosophical Nhai is hilarious 😂 Gosh I love these two! 💕💗❣️
As always I watched this show with a huge smile on my face. Who needs a storyline if I can have these two cuties be all over each other all the time. Full of tropes? Gimme more of them! 😛

First impressions - In UWMA, Win seemed more upbeat and mischievous while Team seemed more carefree and goofy. The interactions between Team, Manaow and Pharm also seemed more natural in UWMA.
I am resetting my expectations and going to start watching this as a new show with the same actors rather than the same story told from WinTeam's viewpoint. Coz in UWMA, Win kissed Team's forehead in a general store and Team looked like he was gay panicking. This was near the end of the show, so it seems unlikely that they actually got together at the very beginning.
Coming back to Between Us, the scene in Win's room was explosive!! 🥵 The build up was one of the best I have watched. I prefer this NC scene over all of LITA's.
But.......here's what I don't get - We saw Win's attraction to Team from the first moment he saw him. However, there seemed zero awareness from Team's side. So Team readily following Win to his room seemed kind of strange. Is it coz he was horny from the porn and Win offered a one night stand? Or had he been fascinated with Win too? ABC's comments made it seem that this was his first time watching porn. So an innocent like him was fine with losing his virginity to a college senior he had only known for a week? Let's see if we get the answers next week.
PS. There was no Raikontopeni in the beginning. I miss it 🥺
